Chapter 19

NAYEON'S POV

I didn't sleep all night. I couldn't. Maybe I'm going to get married, maybe not. It's so frustrating.
Yesterday my dad informed me and my sister about a marriage he had to make with the Park family. Actually I'm not sure if their name is Park, that's a divorced family so one of us is going to marry or Mr.' son or Mrs.'s son.

"What's distracting you so much? The breakfast was ready ten minutes ago." Jihyo said. She was sat in front of me at the kitchen's table.

"Maybe I'm going to get married."

"PFFT- WHAT?" She spilled the orange juice she was drinking.

"You literally showered me." I complained cleaning my face with a tissue.

"Oh. Sorry... But how is that possible? Are you in a relationship? Obviously you're not."

"Why obviously?" I glared at her. " My father decided. Or me or my sister."

"Why?" She raised an eyebrow.

"He wants someone to replace him at the agency. He said we're not mature yet."

"That's a bit offensive. But the marriage is more shocking. You're going to get married at the age of 23."

"It's not sure yet! Maybe I'm not the one who's going to marry."

"You have a 50% possibility of getting married." She finished her breakfast and went to wash the plate.

"You're not helping me!" I yelled at her.

Afternoon

I riceved a call from dad and immediately picked up.

"Nayeon"

"Yes dad?"

"You're the lucky one." I think I know what he's going to talk about. Lucky, eh?
I didn't reply so he spoke again.

"Your sister told me she has a boyfriend, I can't force her to marry someone else. You don't have a boyfriend, don't you?"

"I... I don't but-"

"That's perfect. You're getting married to Park Jimin."

"I don't think-"

"I need to hang up, your mother is calling me and I have to tell her the news." He hang up.

I can't believe it. I'm going to get married and I didn't even find real love.

Fortunately he's Park Jimin, the boy I met at the shop a couple of days ago... What a small world. We can talk and undo the marriage, if possible.

I saw a lot of messages from the group chat. Jihyo can't hold secrets for more than 10 minutes. They're all talking about the marriage, they went wild even more when I informed them that I'll be the one who's going to marry cause my damn sister probably found a random guy and payed him asking to be her fake boyfriend. I'm sure cause I never heard nothing from her about being in a relationship.

Then a unexpected message came from a unexpected person.

What do you want? I'm losing my patience.

About the marriage

I don't usually listen to my father but I could say everything just to shut up Jeongyeon.

Just wait for this evening, you're gonna meet him

I turned off my phone, I do not want to talk to him anymore.

I've got to get ready, I'm gonna meet with Mr. Park's family this evening. I don't know how Jeongyeon knew about it, I didn't talk about it with anyone, not even with Jihyo.
