Chapter 1 - The move

Mia POV

I'm moving today from England to America, that's like so scary. Connor has said he'll met me at the airport and take me too my apartment so that's not all bad but yeah.

"Bye Mum, i'll call later, love you" I said taking her in to a bone crushing hug "I'm gonna miss you"

"Ok sweetie, I'll miss you too" she sobbed into the hug.

"Final call for flight 022 to California" the speakers interrupted.

"Well I guess this is me" I replied walking off into the distance pulling my vlogging camera out. "Hey guys, and good morning, it's currently..." I paused looking down at the bright screen on my phone "six thirty in the morning and I'm on my way to met Connor at the airport 'cuz I'm moving to Cali baby" I shouted the last part and got a few death looks from the older people, wow not morning people.

I covered the lenses of the camera before getting out my ticket and passport for the women standing at the door "First class, so go to your left when you reach the door to the plane" she gave me a warm smile before giving back my ticket and passport "Have a nice flight"

I taken my camera back out to vlog a bit more, 'cuz well what are you supposed to do when your bored. "So I'm on my way to the plane an I'm soo excited eekk" I squealed and got a few more look before taking my seat with all the posh people, I felt so out of place with my disco pants and baby blue crop top with converse on.

"So I'm now in California and its currently 6 in the morning here , haha I-" I paused and noticed connor waiting with a sign that said 'Anyone named Mia and is annoying' written on it, I pointed the camera his way "CONNOR" I shouted running towards him as fast as I could with my suitcase following me from behind.

"Mia" he replied dropping the sign and running my way. When we were arms length away I draped my arms around his neck and he placed his on my waist picking me up and spinning my round.

"It's Connor" I shouted grinning placing the camera at the side of use during are bone crushing hug and getting spun around.

"It's Mia" he shouted back using the same tone. Once he had let go and I gained my balance I started to vlog again.

"As I was saying" I paused to try and remember but couldn't "Yeah I've forgot what I was saying haha" I giggled and covered the lense and turned it off.

"Ready to leave" Connor said placing his hand out to me "I wanna get a Starbucks on the way to your place though" I giggled, grabbed my belongings and followed him, well got dragged along.

The car ride to mine was just me and Connor chatting about life.

"So why are you moving to America" he asked pulling up to the tall building where my apartment is and pulling out a key and placing it into my hand.

Until he had brought that up I was enjoying the sight of the foreign country. "Erm I can't tell you" I mumbled looking down at my feet.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know" he spoke quickly and talking me into a soft hug. "Would you like me to come in with you or met up later" he asked trying to change the subject.

"I would like to get used to the place first so met up later" I questioned not really wanting to spend time with him.

"Yeah sure, bye" and with that I was out of the car and heading up to the top floor of the breath taking building.
