Lance and Keith had become close and when they fallout and things mess up the group takes Keith's side and Lance goes Missing he learned to forgive them but did theu forget him Lance goes after a job returning for senior year
"Hey lance" Matt picked up the phone "hi matt" matt gave me a guilty look "Katie knows" I smiled at him "it's okay I expected her to find out but it's literally been a day hi pidge I know you're there" she slowly stuck her head into the camera "hello lance" she said in a cold tone "Katie don't be rude till you know the full story cause trust me you have got it all wrong" I felt my heart sink Again she was angry at me I'm such an asshole "you do know the GIRL was nyam right so Keith's kinda the bad guy here she came back and has been given Lance problems again did you not notice the makeup the limp or the grazes she was abusing him and non of you noticed he's been hiding it for weeks" Matt said his voice was shaking. Pidges pov
The call ended "so he just left like that and I'm about to kill someone fucking Nyam she always makes him miserable and I really want to tell Keith" Matt looks guilty "I guess it's my fault for not mentioning it and you can't we are going now but lance is struggling as it is don't add pressure let's go see the others I have the keys to lance apartment so we can go round and play on the PlayStation later after our hang out okay" we went down the stairs into the car and sat in total silence "I kinda miss him matt he was my best friend" I broke the silence "I get it but you need to keep quiet about him leaving not even hunk can know because he's on Keith's side at the moment" we pulled up on the driveway "gays the cool friend is here oh and Matt" I shout bursting through the door throwing myself on the sofa only for Keith to shout Ow "whatever" I got up and stormed into the kitchen "who are we waiting for then" Adam turns to me "hunk allura lance and alluras friend romelle I think"
Half an hour later
Everyone was here except for lance I didn't want to say anything but I couldn't help it "guys lance isn't going to come let's just start movie night okay" I sighed and shifted "good I'd hate to be near him" Keith spat "cheating lying freak" I felt my blood being to boil I opened my mouth to say something matt stood on my foot "ow" I hissed at him quietly he placed his fingering his lips "shh not yet he isn't ready"🤫 hunk and allura walked in " I think you should confront him Keith make him sorry we will come with you" allura said smirking I felt my blood boiling once again. He's innocent stay calm he's happy I repeated as the others began to think about the suggestion. "I d.." I was cut off " you know what yes we should I deserve it the scum at least owes me an explanation" before I knew we were all in cars on our way to lances well matts apartment "what if he doesn't answer cause it's us" I try to get them to go back "I have a spare key" Keith said I gulped sh*t sh*t sh*t I mumbled to myself in the back I pulled out my phone to message matt in the other car.

Bang bang bang allura hammers on the door "ugh no answer he's probably hiding like a little freak" she hissed Keith reaches into his pockets pulling out a key with a little blue heart on the end he opened the door I ran straight through a pile of what looked like vomit and grabbed the note hiding it in my pocket "ugh what the hell what a tramp" I said trying to get them to look away I they searched the apartment "it looks like his stuff is gone like his clothes and stuff but it looks like he left a few days ago in a rush" hunk said a concerned look plastered his face "looks like he cried himself sick by the door he's left loads though just all his clothes laptop but his phone was on his bed completely dead" allura and her girlfriend appeared from his room they grabbed a charger and sat down "well if he's being a coward we will find out on our own then" the group sat at the table waiting "Matt can we talk" I said breaking the silence everyone looked at me "family stuff" we went into the bedroom we sat and talked it over until Keith screamed it's on I ran out the room in hopes that no one knew his password and would give it to me so I could disable the phone but Keith was already scrolling through lances phone maybe Keith will realise what actually happened I sat anxiously tapping my foot next to Keith gazing down at the phone as Keith looked through lances messages he saw everything lance had done after he left one being him attempting to apologise voicemails of him sobbing saying sorry and let him explain Keith opened them one after another each one the pain in lances voice became more noticeable the last was so hard to listen to I could see my friends feeling bad hunk shiro Matt adam romelle were all on the verge of crying the last two were by far the worst "Keith please p-p-please I didn't cheat I love you s-s-so mumuch I understand you hate me and I can't bear being around you because because I uh I really love you so I i really want to explain just to talk it out and cuddle but you're gone you hate me and I'm sat on the floor crying I I I need you I hate nyam I always loved you" I could see the anger form on Matt , alluras and hunks face from the name Keith opened the next one he sobbed quietly I seemed to be the only person who knew I felt bad I grabbed his hand "it's okay" I smiled at him "hello Keith Keith please I can't live without you I need you I feel so empty and lost I never wanted to hurt you Keith please let me talk I I I ugh" it sounded like him being sick "I never cheated I promise I just didn't want you to get hurt and I know you won't forget how I hurt you but I never meant for this to happen I was trying to keep you safe cough cough cough it was me our you and I couldn't let you get hurt there was a reason I always wore makeup and long clothes but I did it for you I love you and that's why I'm saying goodbye I'm leaving you and this life moving on for you so you can be happy god this hurts I love you Keith kogane I alway have and will love you I hope you can be happy now goodbye lance Taylor McClain is saying goodbye and i love you beautiful for the last time" my heart broke for both boys Keith was shaking.
