Earthquake

I reread something I wrote a couple of months ago, and I decided to post it on here cuz I think it's hilarious.

"Your honor, would you please-"

"Silence, bailiff! Can't you see that I'm busy?" The judge says as he digs in on his forgotten bento. In the middle of court. Everybody in the courtroom sweatdropped as they waited for the hounourable judge to finish. Being a little too bored, Phoenix walks over to Edgeworth, hoping to have a little chat.

"Hey, Miles! Haven't chatted in a while, huh?"

"This is no t-"

The ground started to shake, the window shattered as people started screaming. While the judge just continued to eat like the world isn't ending. Edgeworth's eyes darken and widen as he fully processed what was happening. Doing the first thing he could think of, he grabbed Phoenix's tie and ducked under the table. Resulting in him and Phoenix being squished in the tight space and having to stay there. Hearing more windows shattering and people screaming, he became more terrified each passing second.

"Wright, are you oka-" He turned to Phoenix. Just to find him in a much worse mental state then him. Him trying to steady his breathing, the panic and distressed look on his face, his sweaty palms. With people's screams of terror slowly becoming mute, Edgeworth continued to stare at Wright, before steadying his own breathing.

The wall cracked, causing Edgeworth to go in ultra panic mode. Not being able to think straight, he grabbed Phoenix's arm, hugging it tight while Phoenix straight up wraps his arms around Edgeworth, also not being able to think straight.

The judge? Still eating.

They stayed like that until the earthquake was over. Which was a long time.
