Chapter 5

"320 miles away." Gwen says. We got a audio signal.
"Exterminate." The robotic voice repeats over and over. Jack hugs us all close.
"Jack." I say quietly.
"Jack do you know them?" Gwen asks. Jack kisses all of our heads.
"I'm sorry. There is nothing I can do we're dead." Jack says voice breaking.
I'm sitting next to Jack head on his shoulder as we both just listen to the daleks. Sorrow strong from knowing our impending doom and Martha's fallen. Then Gwen alerted us:
"Someone's trying to contact us."
"The whole world is crying out. Just ignore it." He says.
"Captain Jack Harkness!" A woman says. "That is no way to act."
"What?" Jack says suddenly standing. I follow him. "Who is that?"
"Harriet Jones former prime minister." She shows id.
"We know who you are." Jack and I say.
Ianto and I get jacks coat while he asks for teleport base codes.
"We'll be back." He says. Gwen and Ianto look at him.
"Don't lie to them." I say.
"I'm coming back." Jack promises.
"I'll make sure he does." I grab his wrist as he teleports us.
We end up right in front of a dalek and we shoot it. I run over to two blonde girls and ginger-ish (brunette?) girl who are hunched over the doctor.
"Get him into the T.A.R.D.I.S." Jack orders them. We get him in the T.A.R.D.I.S and jack pulls me, the girl Rose, and the other girls away as he starts his regeneration cycle.
We end up getting captured by the daleks, Jack and I get shot, the doctor loses the T.A.R.D.I.S and Donna, Jack and I escape an incinerator, and climb through two miles of ventilation shafts.
"I crawl through two miles of ventilation shafts chasing life signs on this thing and what do I find, Mickey Mouse." Jack says.
"You can talk captain cheesecake." The hug each other.
"That's beefcake." Jack says as I face palm.
"Who's this?" Mickey asks.
"I'm (Y/N)." I grab jacks hand. "Jacks girlfriend."
"Oh, I'm Mickey. Mickey Smith." He shakes my hand. "This is Jackie." He points at a blonde lady. "And this is Sarah Jane." He points to a short haired brunette.
Long story short, we get a warp star, Martha has a osterhagan key, we alert davros and the daleks, and finally get trapped in the control room with the doctor, Rose, and her younger sister Acacia. We are sitting on our knees hands behind her head as davros is a crazy psychopath.
"Supreme Dalek the time has come. Detonate the reality bomb!" He shouts. "Nothing can stop the detonation. Nothing and no one. We hear the T.A.R.D.I.S.
"But that's." The doctor says.
"Impossible." Davros says.
"Brilliant." Jack and I say. A second doctor comes out and is shot by davros.
"Doctor!" Donna runs out and gets shot as well.
"Donna! Donna you alright Donna!" The doctor yells.
"I was wrong about your warriors doctor they really are pathetic." Davros says.
"How come there are two of you?" Rose asks.
"Human biological metacrisis." The doctor says. "But never mind that now we have no way of stopping the reality bomb."
"Stand witness time lord, stand witness humans, your strategies have failed your weapons are useless and well the end of the universe has come." Davros states. The screen shuts off and an alarm starts blaring.
"Aannd closing walls in antreano loops using an internalized syncris backfeed reversal loop. That button there." Donna says.
"Donna you can't even change a plug." The doctor says as shocked as we are.
"Do you wanna bet time boy." She says smartly.
"You'll suffer for this." She reverses Davros's bio electricity bolts to surge back into him.
"Ooh bio electric damaging field with retro based arc converter."
"Exterminate her!" Davros shouts. Donna disables the Daleks weapon system.
"How did you work that out your-" doctor number one says.
"Time lord. Part time lord." The other says. Basically I get a gun, push some daleks as they scream. I keep the daleks away. Davros activated the time lord in donnas brain.
"You promised me dalek kan. Why didn't you foresee this?" Davros says.
"Oh I think he did." Doctor one says. Jack and I shoot the Supreme Dalek. We all run into the T.A.R.D.I.S to escape the destruction the second doctor started.
We basically now have to figure out how to pull the earth back. We call Torchwood to get help.
"Is Jack and (Y/N) there?" Gwen asks.
"Can't get rid of them." He says. He calls Sarah's son and Mr.Smith.
"Jack, (Y/N) steady that." The doctor orders. We finally got earth back and everyone cheered. Jack picks me up and kisses me.
When we leave Jack gets in trouble for using teleport. Even though the doctor hates salutes we salute him.
"Hey you two!" Mickey shouts as he runs over to us.
"Oh I thought I got rid of you." Jack says and I just laugh.

Brushing out my messy hair after waking up from a dream about the Daleks. I look at the clock. 5:00 it reads. Jacks still asleep, for once.
"Pathetic, useless." Davros' voice echoes in my head. My brush hits the hardwood floor with a loud smack. I snap out of the daze I was in. Looking at my hands I realize they are shaking like I am having a seizure in only my hands. Next thing I know jacks holding me in his arms telling me:
"It's okay. I've got you. You're alright." Then I'm crying hysterically on his shoulder.
Jack then took me to a therapist to see why that happened cause the only word I had said was pathetic.
"So what happened that you needed to come today?" She asks me.
"I. I had a dream, about a thing that happened like five months ago. It hadn't done anything until now. I woke up early so I was getting ready and he was still asleep and then. This person that this happened with, their voice echoed in my head and then I dropped my brush and started shaking. Then I started crying, and kept repeating pathetic." I explain.
"Mmmm, so what happened?" The person asks.
"Um you know those Dalek things from a while ago." I lick my lips. "I was part of the fight against them and I, um, we got captured and the person had said we were pathetic, our weapons were useless and that the end of the universe had come."
"And it's not bothering you except for this morning?"
"Yes." I go to brush my hair back but my hand does it again.
"Okay and now it is too." She says.
"Relax." Jack whispers in my ear.
"I'm fine." I tell him.
"Okay." He says.
"Well you may have some type of PTSD." She says. "But before I do anything. You." She points at Jack. "I want you to monitor her. If it gets worse call me again if it gets better there is no need."
"Yes ma'am." Jack says.
"And you said your name was?" She asks.
"(Y/N) Harkness." I answer. It sounded so weird saying that.
"Okay thank you." She says.
"Yeah." I say quietly. I walk out quickly.
"You better, at all?" Jack asks.
"No." I say blank expression on my face.
"Oh." He says.
When we get to the house. The house. THE HOUSE! Jack told me not to look at the house as he frantically gets out of the car. I looked out anyway. The house is reduced to embers and bricks and charcoal. I jump out of the car.
"What happened?" I ask.
"I don't-" I take off running. "(Y/N)!" Jack shouts after me as throw myself through the door. I slam the smoking door to the bedroom open. What I saw scared the crap out of me. A symbol with circles on the wall but the weirdest part was the bed and the nightstands on both sides of the bed were not burned at all. Not even touched by the flames.
"What the he- time lord." Jack says.
"What?" I ask.
"He means me." A man says. He looks like... Harold Saxon?
"Master." Jack says.
"Whatever your name is." He says.
"You should know my name if you know where I live." Jack says.
"Shut up." The Master says. "I'm more into this." He touches my chin and tilts my head up. I look past him at jack and he looks pissed.
"Don't touch me." I spat jerking away.
"Oh full of fire." He says.
"You don't want to do that." I say raising my eyebrow.
"Why?" He asks. I walk over to Jack as he puts his arm around me.
"Yeah." Jack says. "Um me." I put my hand on jacks chest.
"What I mean is she is like you." He gets up in jacks face.
"Who cares." I say pushing the master away.
"You could be important." He says then his face disappeared and a skull showed up.
"Um." I swallow. "I'm only really important to one person so I suggest you back off." I start to yell.
"Mmm." The master says. "Well if you do what I want you will be important and very, very useful." He pushes me up against the wall spitting as he talked.
"Don't touch her." Jack says.
"How are you still alive." I hear a voice say. I look to my left to see the doctor in the corner of my eye.
"Doctor." The master says bitterly.
"Doctor." I say relieved.
"Why are you alive and pushing (Y/N) against a wall?" The doctor asks. What I didn't notice is Jack had left. Probably pissed off at my lack of defending my self. I hear the cock of the gun.
"Leave." I hear jacks voice. I see Jack holding a gun to the masters head.
"Jack." The doctor warns.
"I'm not doing anything until he leaves." Jack says strait faced.
"Jack." He says to Jack again.
"No. He needs to leave." Jack says.
"Jack." The doctor orders louder.
"No!" Jack yells.
"Jack." I plead walking over to him.
"No he hurt you." Jack says crazed.
"No he didn't." I say hiding the pain in my head.
"I don't care." Jack says. "I've met him before and he kept me captive."
"Jack." I say breathing hard from the terror of this side of him. "Please. Stop."
"Why?" He says tearing up.
"Cause it isn't you!" I shout. He stops and puts the safety back on the gun and lowers his arm.
"Okay." He says quietly. He walks out of the room. I follow him.

     "Well." I sigh sitting next to Jack. "That was indeed interesting." He stays silent. "Jack I'm not mad at you."
     "You sure sounded like it." He says.
     "I wasn't mad." I say. "I was just freaked out. My house burned down, some time lord who can literally make his face see through was in my house trying to hit on me." I stop to think about that and shudder. "The scariest part was seeing you not being you and I thought you weren't coming back when you disappeared."
      "So you're scared of me." Jack says.
      "No I'm not I just was shocked that you can get that angry or aggressive." I say rubbing my arm.
      "Well I can." He gets up and storms off.
      "Jack." I try to follow him but it's like he disappeared.
