I'm listening to Gwen ramble on about dresses and flower...etc. while holding her adorable baby.
"Lets go dress finding today." Gwen says.
"Ugh. Fine I've been putting it off anyway." I say standing.
"Reese can you watch the baby I'm going dress shopping with (Y/N)." Gwen shouts.
"Sure have fun." He says barely looking up from his laptop.
At the dress shop there are so many dresses. Duh, (Y/N) it's a dress shop. Gwen and I picked a dress that is a lace sleeves and lace on the end of the white body.
"What dress did you pick?" Jack asked me.
    "You can't know." I say.
"You're right then I'd be screwed." He jokes.
"Wow." I get up and walk out of the room. Then jacks phone rings.
"Martha Jones." He says. Silence for five minutes. "I'll be there."
"Where are you going?" I ask as he puts on 'the coat'.
    "Somewhere." He says.
"But you haven't eaten yet." I say.
"I'll eat when I get back." He grabs the door nob.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" I ask.
"It's a work thing." He realizes that won't work.
"Then can I come with?" I ask. He stops trying to lie.
"Fine, I'll eat." He sits on the couch.
"It's not about the food." I say. "How long did you plan on leaving?"
"What. Oh, a few months or more." He says.
"And you'd leave now." I say.
"I'd see if he'd take me back to now." He explains.
"No you weren't I know you Jack you wouldn't have! Then what would you expect me to do! I can't take over!" I take a minute. "What if you never come back?"
"I would come back." He says.
"In how long? A year!" I say.
    "No. I." He stops.
"Exactly." I stare at him. "You know what, if you want to leave, leave." I stand up and go to my room slamming the door.
"(Y/N)." He stands up to follow me.
The next morning I walked out of my room messing with the ring. The ring. I took it off and put it in a drawer.
At Torchwood I was talking to Gwen about what happened.
"Wow uh, I dont know what to tell you. I mean he might come back." She responds.
"I don't know." I rub my forehead. "Thats highly unlikely after what I said."
"But he loves you, (Y/N)." She says looking over me.
"Then why didn't he argue against never coming back?" I ask.
"All I know is that he wouldn't leave forever." She looks over me again this time with a hint of a smile.
"Why do you keep looking over me?" I take a step back, run into someone, scream, put up karate hands, and realize it's just Jack.
"What's she talking about?" He asks.
    "You leaving." Gwen answers.
"Oh, why did you think I left?"
"What I said." I say quietly.
    "Oh."
    "I'm sorry." I start crying.
"No (Y/N) don't cry please. It's my fault I shouldn't have tried to hide it." Jack says wrapping me in a hug.
"I'm gonna leave you two alone." Gwen says.
"Where is the ring?" Jack asks.
"I took it off." I whisper.
"Oh." He says sadness clinging to his face.
"I thought you weren't coming back." I say. "So what would the point be."
"Oh." He walks over to the door.
"Are you really leaving?" I ask disappointment in my voice.
    "Not without you." He smiles.
"But I don't want to leave." I say.
"Then I won't either." Jack gets a call from Martha. "Yeah I'm not going." Martha starts to speak but Jack hangs up on her. I smile at him and he smiles at me.
    "Thank you." I hug him.
"Anything for you." He says pulling me in closer.
"So are you leaving or not?" Gwen asks.
"Not." I smile looking at Jack.
    "Okay." Gwen walks away.
At dinner I made (your fav food).
"Jack!" I yell down the hall. "Dinner!"
"Sweet. Is it (your least fav food)?" He jokes.
"No it's (your fav food)." I say grabbing a big (utensil).
"I know." He says sitting at the counter.
"I know." I say sitting next to him.
"Good." He smiles. I gave him his portion of food. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." I say. "What do you want to drink?" Even though there is an obvious answer I ask anyway.
    "The usual."
"Of course." I roll my eyes.
The next day we had to go on a weavel hunt. As I walk down the empty alleyway I hear a dumpster rattle.
"Hello." I call out. No answer.  Heart pounding I call out again. "Hello." A hiss comes out from inside. Calm down (Y/N) it could just be a cat. I hear the noise once again. Swallowing hard I call Jack. "I think we have one." The top of the dumpster flys off as Jack asks:
"Where are you?" I dropped the ear piece as I ran from the weavel that had came out from the dumpster.
Eventually I became cornered. I frantically looked for a way out. I climb up wooden crates and still couldn't step over the brick wall. The weavel now was clawing at my feet. I plant my hands and put one of my feet in a crack. I sit on the top of the wall then stood up. I grab the window frame, trying to open it. I knock on the window seeing someone pass. Then I grab a discarded pole and throw it through the window, me jumping after.
    I hear a large bang. A gun.
"(Y/N)!" Jack yells. To scared I stay where I am. "(Y/N)!"
"Up here." I feel blood dripping down my forehead and my lip burns from the glass I cut it with.
"Can you come down." There were now people staring at me.
"Possibly." I try standing but pain stabbed my ankle and I fell. "No."
"Are there people with you?" He asks.
"Yes." I look up at them as an older lady comes in.
"Ask if they can help you." I smile at them and the older lady grabs me and helped me down the stairs of their home. A young lady goes and grabs a towel and wets it in the sink.
"Here you go sweetie." The lady hands me a towel.
"Thank you." I put it on my forehead as she puts a bandage on my lip. "I'm sorry for breaking your window. I'll pay for the damage."
"Oh thank you, but may I ask, why did you come through my window?" She moves the towel and looks at my head.
"I was running." I stop as I see Jack enter the house. "I was running from those things on the news."
   "Why?"
"I was trying to capture them because I work for an anti-weavel group." I lie a little. I take a closed teeth breath as she checks my throbbing ankle.
Jack, knowing this lady says, "Hello Martha's young mother."
She turns around and says: "Oh. Hello Jack."
When I got home I had crutches and a soft cast.
"On the bright side I was not attacked by a weavel." I sigh sitting on the couch very slowly.
"Yeah, okay, you were. You can't die though." He says sitting next to me.
"I can just not permanently." I say.
"Whatever." He laughs. I lay my head on him and he puts his arm around me.
"When you died that one time." I say. "Me and some men kissed you. Cause you asked so...,you know."
"Okay I didn't care." He laughs. "But thank you for letting me know."
   "Oh."
I woke up in the same place but no jack. I took a breath through my nose and smelled...breakfast? I made my slow way into the kitchen and saw Jack making (breakfast food).
"What are you doing?" I ask stopping next to him.
"Making (🥞🍳☕️food)." He smiles. I fix the temperature on the burner of the stove. "What?"
"Nothing just checking what temperature it was at." I lie. He glares at me so I giggle a little. He then rolls his eyes letting out a part of a laugh.
    "Okay." He says.
"Whatever." I say going back out.
I had grabbed some baggy sweat pants and a few inches too big tee-shirt. I heard a knock at my door.
"Don't you dare open that door." I say to him.
    "Why not?" He asks.
"Because of reasons!" I yell sitting on the floor in the corner behind the bed opposite the door.
"And those are?" He asks. I imagined the face he usually makes.
"I am getting dressed." I say. "And I don't have pants on." I whisper to myself.
"Oh." I can tell he's imagining it.
    "JACK HARKNESS!" I yell.
"Breakfast is ready." He says quickly and walks away. Well that's interesting. I thought to myself.
I get down stairs and hear, "That is not an outfit you should wear." I look down at myself and finally process what I put on.
I come back down stairs in skinny jeans and a tight-ish (color) shirt with black converse high tops.
"That's better." Jack smiles putting his arm around my waist pulling me against him.
   "Breakfast." I smile.
"Right, your grandmother made (breakfast food) different." He says.
"Is that your code word for weird?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Kind of." He grabs the (breakfast food).
"That's what I thought." I pause. "But! It's delicious." I sit on one of the stools.
"I don't know that." He thinks that over. "I don't doubt you though." He smiles handing me my (breakfast food).
"Thank you." I grab a (utensil) from the drawer.
"You're welcome." He says. "Did I do it right?"
"Yes you did." I answer. He starts eating his (breakfast food).
   "You were right." Jack says.
Getting to work is hard when you're on crutches. Well Jack offered me to stay home, but me being me I ignored him.
"So wait what happened?" Gwen asks.
"It's really complicated, okay not really." I explained to Gwen the whole thing.
"Okay why didn't you jump over?" She shakes her head confused. I thought back to that moment. There was another weavel who was climbing out of a pile of rubbish.
"There was another weavel." I say to her.
   "There were two?" Jack asks.
"Yes." I say suddenly annoyed. Come to think of it that's been happening since last week.
"Why are you annoyed with me (Y/N)?" He asks me.
   "I don't know." I say quietly.
"It's been a pretty eventful couple of weeks for her." Gwen says.
"Yeah." I agree. "I've been really tired."
"Okay then you should go home." Jack starts walking out.
"Now you're annoyed with me." I say following.
When I got home jack didn't say anything. He just turned around and left.
"Bye, see you later." I say.
-------Time Skip by Rose Tyler-------
I soon found out that I was pregnant. Strange thoughts for me of how. The bright side is all I have is some wrap for my ankle and my ability to walk with out crutches.
"Jack!" I shout from the hall.
"Kitchen!" He yells back. I walk into the kitchen and see him making lunch.
"Hi." I rub my eyes walking up to Jack.
"Good, you're alive." He kisses me.
"Wait I slept that long?" I ask noticing the clock. 12:05.
"Yes." He hands me a/an (fruit).
   "Great." I say.
"It's good." He says. "You've been exhausted."
   "You were fine?" I ask.
"Yes I've dealt with being alone before." He says.
   "Jack."
   "Yeah?"
   "That's sad."
   "I know."
At Torchwood I finished a new tool.
"Gwen, Jack!" I jump out of my chair.
   "Yeah." Jack says walking over.
"Yes." Gwen pokes her head up.
   "It's done." I say.
"Sweet what is it again?" Jack asks.
"A multifunction wrist thingy." I say still beaming.
"It doesn't have a name." Gwen says.
   "No." I'm still smiling.
   "Just show us." Jack says.
"Okay." I put one one jack. "Call Jack."
"Calling Jack." Says the automatic voice. Jack answers and a full size hologram Jack shows up in front of me doing everything jack is. A full size me shows up in front of him.
"And that's not all." I set up a can. "Lasers engage." I line it up. "Fire." A laser comes out. "It also can do the same with tranquilizer darts." I keep beaming, but silence. Everyone stares at the fried can with all the top pieces everywhere.
   "Awesome!" Gwen says.
Jack, Gwen, Reese, and I all had dinner together in my house.
"That was probably the greatest moment today." Gwen says. "And when the can exploded the pieces went everywhere."
"When the can exploded (Y/N) screamed a tiny bit." Jack says laughing.
"Jack." I elbow him in the side.
"It wasn't that funny though." He says in pain. Reese hadn't said much all night.
"Reese." I say. "How are you doing?"
   "Good." He says.
"That's good. Do you like the food?" I ask trying to get him past three words.
"Yes, it's delicious." He says. Dammit.
"Good. Are you okay because you haven't said much?" I slap a hand over my mouth.
"I'm alright." Please say more. "It's just a tiny bit awkward because I don't understand what is happening." YES!
"Oh." I say. Everyone is silent. "I'll be right back." I abruptly get out of my chair startling everyone. I close and lock the door. Somebody jiggles the door handle.
"(Y/N)." Jack says. "Open the door."
    "I'm an idiot." I say.
    "No you're not." He says.
"Yes I am I should have talked about anything but Torchwood and Reese probably would be having a better time."
"The majority of the talking was me and Gwen on that subject." He says.
"It's still my fault." I say.
"It's everyone's fault." Jack says. "Now please come out." I open the door. Jack hugs me. "Let's put this behind us okay."
"Yeah." I say. He kisses my forehead.
"Are you okay (Y/N)?" Gwen asks.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say sitting back down.
-------Time Skip by the Doctor-------
The wedding day. I know I should have more to worry about but I keep thinking about what happened at that dinner two weeks ago. I told Gwen about being pregnant.
   "How long?" She asks.
"Four weeks." I say while she finishes her makeup.
"Oh wow." She says. "No wonder you still look good." We both laugh.
"Well hopefully I do because I put a lot of effort into this." I laugh.
   "You look flawless." She smiles.
"You look beautiful too." I tell her.
"Thank you this isn't about me though." She puts me in front of a mirror and puts my curled, long, (hair color) over my shoulders. My phone then buzzes. It's my friend, Jenny.
Jenny: hey!
