Bowser's POV:

"You've never been on a vacation? Not even a break?" I asked Toadette. Toadette laughed. "Breaks? Who has time for those? We're always so busy we never have time for anything." Toadette replied. "Well, since we're here why don't we just take a break?" I pointed to the ocean.

"I don't see why not. Let's take a break. We are ahead of schedule anyway." Captain Toad said. The sand felt satisfying. Hot yet nice. I always loved the beach. World 3 was always my favorite. The beautiful sunshine, hot sand, cold ocean. I tossed my backpack on the sand then setting my shirt on top. I slowly walked to the water.

"Cheatsy! Stop that!" Ludwig was flailing his arms around in the water. "Cheatsy, stop drowning your brother. You know he can't swim." I said helping Ludwig calm down. "Crybaby," Cheatsy muttered. "Keep having an attitude and you're really going to have it." I glared at Cheatsy.

I dove inside the water. The water is crystal clear. I came back up then took a deep breath. It felt so refreshing. I took off my ponytail tying the hair tie on my wrist. Toadette stared at the water. The waves gently crashing. "Come in, Toadette. The water's perfect." I said. Toadette shook her head no.

"Toadette can't swim." Captain Toad said floating with his eyes closed. "You can't swim? I can teach you." I said walking to Toadette. "Shouldn't I know how to swim?" Toadette asked. "My son Ludwig doesn't know how to swim. He's a year older than you." "I can give it a try." Toadette slowly walked into the water. "Why is it so cold?!" I laughed. "Put your head in." Toadette dove in the water. "Wow, it's so clear." Toadette smiled.

"Now try moving your arms and legs under the water," I said. Toadette tried to swim but failed. After many failed attempts Toadette finally swam. "Did you see that? I just swam from there to there!" "Yes, you did!" I smiled. It made me happy to help people. Well, some people. "Dad! Dad! Did you see me? I was actually swimming!"

Iggy's POV:

"Cheatsy, go do your homework!" Marc yelled. Cheatsy stuck his tongue out. "I don't have to. King Dad isn't here. It's just YOU." Cheatsy said. "Cheatsy, you better listen to Marc. We're already in enough trouble as it is." BJ said. "Ugh, FINE! I'll go do my homework!" Cheatsy angrily walked into my room.

"Hey, Cheatsy-" "Why do I have to do everything BJ says? 'Ooh, I'm BJ! I look exactly like King Dad so you should listen to everything I say!" Cheatsy mocked. "Let me go grab my homework."

Cheatsy walked out of my room. I opened my curtains. "Now I'm ready to do my homework." Cheatsy set down a stack of papers on my desk. I sat down at my desk and started doing Cheatsy's homework.

"Whew, that was tiring," Cheatsy said laying on my bed. Tired? You've down nothing but talk about your crush. "Yeah, sure. Here's your completed homework. Even the ones that were supposed to be turned in three months ago." I pushed the stack towards Cheatsy.

"I sure am a genius." Cheatsy ran his fingers through his hair. I let out an angry breath. "What's wrong with you? You can't handle my genius?" Cheatsy laughed. "I wish King Dad were here," I said.

"Why? Without King Dad, everything is better. More freedom, Marc can't handle me, and most importantly Marc is too much of a weenie to ever tell King Dad what happens when he's gone. It's perfect." Cheatsy said with a smile. "I just wish I were grounded already. Being grounded is better than dealing with you." I said.

Rosalina's POV:

"So, do you have a girlfriend?" I asked Marcus. "Girlfriend? No, Auntie." Marcus replied. "Oh, come on. You're 17. You don't have a crush?" "Nope, I'm focusing on me. Besides Dad is teaching me how to be King." Marcus said with a smile.

"I'm glad you're happy about your future." I finished decorating a bouquet of flowers. "Who brought these orange flowers? Ugh, Yoshi!" Yoshi raced over to Marcus. "Yes, Prince Marcus?" Yoshi asked. "Why do we have orange flowers?" "I thought it would match perfectly with the tablecloths." "Well, you are wrong. Light orange and dark pink don't match. We can't have anything that resembles Bowser. But you didn't think of that, did you? You just thought 'Oh, pink and orange definitely match. Who cares if that represents our arch-enemy who wreaks havoc on our kingdom?' Get rid of anything orange." Marcus demanded.

"Yes, Prince Marcus." Yoshi grabbed the bouquet of flowers I decorated. "Well, I love the color orange. I think it's a beautiful color." I said with a smile. I bet it's beautiful just like you. "You're talking nonsense, Auntie Rosalina. There's nothing beautiful about the color orange." Marcus laughed.
