6 - Ice Breaker

Ozzy's POV

"We did it." I smiled, wrapping my arms around Carlos. We celebrated for a brief moment before Evie spoke up, standing between us and Bridgette's crew.

"Guys, come on." She sighed. "This was so great! We were a team. We worked together."

No one said anything, and I rolled my eyes at Bridgette as she shook her head at Evie. Evie poked mine and Mal's elbows.

"Come on." She said before turning to Uma and Bridgette, tapping their arms too. "Come on."

"Don't touch." Bridgette huffed as Uma gave Evie a disbelieving look.

"You know what we should try?" Evie asked, looking between our separated groups. "An ice breaker."

Jay and Carlos sighed, pulling Mal and I to them. Carlos had his hand over his face as he groaned, shaking his head.

"You say something you really like about the other person." Evie continued, smiling at Bridgette and her crew. "Okay? I'll start... Harry."

The pirate let out a puff of air as he avoided looking at Evie. Bridgette raised an eyebrow in Evie's direction, looking slightly amused as she smirked.

"Great accent." Evie complimented. "Now, you go."

"Is she always this perky?" Bridgette asked, looking around Evie and Mal and I.

"Oh, it wasn't really your turn, but thank you." Evie smiled at Bridgette. She rolled her eyes and scoffed, nodding at Evie sarcastically.

"Okay, Evie." Mal said, grabbing her hands. "I love you."

"I love you." Evie breathed.

"I love this energy." Mal commented.

"But we are very short on time." I added, smiling at Evie. "Audrey clearly knows that we're here and we need to get out of here ASAP."

"Alright!" Bridgette yelled. "Where does this cheerleader bunk down?"

"Even if she's not there, we might find some sort of clue." Uma added, standing beside Bridgette with her arms crossed.

"Actually, she's still in the dorms." Evie answered.

"You're right!" Mal smiled.

"Because of summer school." I nodded.

"What? Summer school?" Harry asked, laughing maniacally. "Summer? School? No wonder she wants revenge."

"Okay," Mal said. "I need you guys to go find Ben. We will meet back at Evie's in two hours, okay?"

"Sounds like we're going with my plan." Bridgette sounded. "I'm just saying."

"It was kind of the obvious plan." I snapped.

"B said it first!" Gil sang, and Bridgette nodded at him with a smile.

"Right, so her plan." Uma pressed, looking back at Gil.

"Whatever." Mal huffed, walking with me out the door. Bridgette and Uma followed suit, but not before Bridgette and Harry shared a soft kiss.

"Gross." I muttered, earning a yellow eyed glare from Bridgette.

"Mind your business, snowflake." She growled, bumping her shoulder into mine as we walked past me.

"She's nowhere on campus." Evie informed, leading us back into Audrey's dorm. My eyes landed on Uma and Bridgette, who were lounging on Audrey's bed as they read her diary.

"Found her diary." Bridgette commented.

"And, dang, did you ruin Audrey's life." Uma chuckled, looking back down at the book.

"Okay, so did you find anything in there that we don't already know, or?" Mal asked.

"She hangs out at Fairy Cottage." Bridgette stated, closing the diary.

"You know, where Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather hid her mom from your mom." Uma added.

"Yes, ha, ha, ha." Mal said monotonously. "The irony is not lost on me."

"How can anyone with this bed ever be unhappy?" Bridgette asked as she and Uma sunk into it.

"Okay, how do I look?" Celia asked from Audrey's vanity, striking a pose. I smiled down at her and nodded.

"Very nice." I commented.

"The bling, stays here." Evie stated.

"But she's bad." Celia retorted, rolling her eyes.

"And we're not." Evie reminded. Celia sighed and started taking the jewelry off.

"You can come visit my castle soon and raid my jewelry box." I told her with a smile. "I got loads of stuff I never wear."

"Really?" She asked.

"Really." I nodded. "We can take Dizzy and the twins and make a trip out of it."

"Thanks, Ozzy!" She smiled, hugging me tightly.

"You're welcome, now let's go." I said, nudging her out the door. The walk from Auradon Prep to Evie's was short, and I spent most of it watching Celia spin and skip around.

"Nice digs." Bridgette commented, looking at Evie's castle with an impressed look on her face.

"I got a really good deal." Evie commented, leading us into her house. We came across Dizzy and the twins, asleep on a couch. Celia whispered to Dizzy, who looked like she was having a nightmare, before she threw a blanket over the three sleeping forms.

"Don't worry, Dizzy. We can fix this." Celia said. "And once we do, they're gonna let all the kids come from the Isle. So... Happy dreams."

I felt my heart fall to my stomach, knowing that Mal and Ben weren't going to follow through with that promise. Before I could say anything, snoring caught our attention. Mal, Uma, and Bridgette went to investigate while I helped make the twins and Dizzy more comfortable on the couch. Celia helped me, retelling her adventure to their sleeping forms, a smile spread across her face.
