Ink looked to his new caretaker. "She still looks at the cars?" He asked, slightly confused by why she even did in the first place. "Well, yes. I don't think she'll stop until she forgives herself." Cakey replied, patting his back. "She has a lot of stuff to work out for a five and a half year old, don't you think?" She gave a small soft laugh before turning back to her cooking.

"Another truck. That one looked like dad's." Deena spoke softly, making a circle on the window with her finger, over and over. She sighed and put her face in her arms. Ink furrowed his brow and walked over to her, sitting by the window next to her. He didn't speak, he just looked out the window. He wanted to listen to her, even if she didn't exactly want him to. "Mom, Dad... Tiana... I'm sorry.." His breath hitched as he felt her begin to shake and curl up where she was. If that wasn't an indication she was crying, then the slight gasps and whines would have definitely given it away. He reached a hand out and pulled back hesitantly before he finally pulled her closer. She looked up at him and cried aloud, tears running down her face. He hugged her tightly, and she returned the embrace whole heartedly.
