"I'm thirteen now! Come on!" Grayson begs.

"I-"

"He's not wrong, we told him he can join when he's thirteen" dad stands tall and I sigh.

"Oh yeah, with Niko right?" Sabrina walks past.

"Sab, dude, seriously, stop" Grayson rolls his eyes.

Sabrina rolls her eyes back and sits with the twins.

Sooo those two. Grayson met a new friend and his name is Niko, obviously. We told them both they can join the team since Niko really has the potential for it and we trust him. But, Sabrina isn't the happiest about them. She feels like Niko took her place as Grayson's best friend, which Grayson tells her all time, they're both his best friends.

It's a stupid middle school thing, they'll get over it.

"I'm here!" speaking of the devil. "When's our fight?! We've been training for this!!" Niko wraps his arm around Graysons neck.

Grayson and Niko are thirteen and almost my height, and they aren't even done growing. They look eighteen.

Fucking amazon kids.

"We have a fight later on at the fair. Keep training" dad pats Grayson's shoulder before leaving the house.

"Duces!" Grayson and Niko give the peace sign.

I sigh. "What am I getting myself into?"

"The two future best Red Hooders!" Grayson smiles widely.

"Right" I smack my forehead and they laugh. "You haven't anything to ease my mind before letting them go out there with us?" I point to the boys as I sit next to Gracie.

"Uhhhh.... deep breathing?" she fakes a smile and I throw my head back.

"I'm in danger" I groan. "Wait, no, if my dad has confidence in them, then I should too right? He trained them the most!"

"Yes" she flat out says.

"You're not confident in them either right?" I turn to her.

"No" she says again.

"Good, I'm not the only one" I sigh.

She laughs. "I've just known Grayson since kindergarten. He's an idiot"

"And so is Niko" Sabrina joins in.

Grayson overhears Sabrina and sighs, walking to her. "Sab, you're literally my best friend, we've been best friends since we started school. I'm not replacing you! You have my whole heart" he winks and hugs her.

"I hope that's a joke" I smack my forehead.

"And if you actually talk to Niko, you'll learn that he's just like us!" Grayson pulls back, ruffling her hair.

"Oooo Sabby has a boyfriend!" Caleb laughs.

"Oooo!" Levi goes along.

"Shut up, Caleb!" Sabrina scoffs. "Not gonna happen" she storms to her room.

Niko frowns. "Why doesn't she like me?"

"She's use to being Graysons only friend" I sit back.

"She'll get over it" Gracie smiles and Niko tugs his lips to the side.

"I hope so"
