Ch. 2 New Member of Squad 2

A/N finally getting to writing chapter 2. So let's begin.

After the fight with Jack, Y/N and all the other Soul Reapers continue learning key elements of becoming Soul Reapers. Their instructors bring them to the world of the living to learn the reason what their main objective is. "First and foremost the reason why we become Soul Reapers is to make sure the humans live their lives as peacefully as possible by taking out hollows and for doing konso on spirits so that they may enter the Soul Society," says one of instructor. They continue talking to the Soul Reaper trainees. Eventually they summon real life looking hollows for the trainees to practice against. Out of all the trainees Y/N, Jimmy and Jack take out most of them.

The instructors bring all the trainees back to the Soul Academy to prepare them on their graduation day. The day for the trainees to meet potential Captains is the day of they graduate. Most Soul Reapers are assigned to Captains based on their ability. Those who have proven skillful get a choice to join whatever squad they want. Graduation day comes and goes. Jack ends up choosing Squad 11 due to his love for fighting. Jimmy ends up choosing squad 7 for his respect for that squads Captain. That just leaves Y/N who has joined a squad yet. He has spent a lot of time thinking of the different squads due to his tactician like mind. Y/N not really paying attention doesn't notice a purple haired woman walk up to him. "Your thinking about it too much," says the purple haired woman with a smirk. This gets Y/N to get startled a little. "Whew you startled me," sighs Y/N. The purple haired woman laughs. "Sorry for that. You just seemed to be overwhelmed with choosing a squad. Oh where are my manners My name is Yoruichi Shihoin and I would like if you joined Squad 2 Y/N," says Yoruichi. Y/N looks at Yoruichi who is squad 2s Captain. "Are you sure and how do you know my name?" Asked Y/N stunned that someone knew his name. "First yes I would like you to join my squad. Second I've been keeping my eye on you for a while now and I know who your father is. I never met the man but I heard of what he was capable of and I feel you have a high potential to be even better than he ever was. So what do you say Y/N?" Asked Yoruichi.

Y/N P.O.V
I'm  being showed around squad 2s barracks by a woman named Soi Fon. She happens to adore Yoruichi and offered to show me around. I decided to join squad 2 because I felt I could learn a lot from Yoruichi and get stronger under her tutelage. "This is the barracks where Yoruichi and Lieutenant are located in," says Soi Fon. I continue to follow her to what looks like a training ground. "And this is the training grounds. You can come here whenever you want to put some training in and that is all you need to know about Squad 2. I was told that after the tour that you are to report in with Yoruichi-sama," says Soi Fon. I then take my leave of her and head to Yoruichi's office. Once I reach there I knock on the door of my Captain's office. "The door is open," says Yoruichi. She notices me and smiles. "Well if it isn't my favorite third seat Y/N," Yoruichi happily says. I grin when she says this. I still can't believe see made me a third seat. "Is there something you need from me Captain?" I asked. "Actually yes, I was wanting to know if you wished to train with me?" Asked Yoruichi. "I would really like that. In what particular?" I asked. Well I do know that you are quite skilled in using flash step but I'm curious if you wanted to see if you can get faster. You do know that I am known as The Flash goddess," says Yoruichi. You say that I'm skilled in using flash step but I don't agree with that my flash step needs more work and I would really like to train with you," I say. "Excellent we will begin training tomorrow be up bright and early,"
Says Yoruichi.

I take my leave from Yoruichi and begin to start heading home but get stopped by Soi Fon. "I just want you to know that I'm Lady Yoruichi's bodyguard and won't let anything bad happen to her understand?" Asked Soi Fon confronted me. "Look I would never want anything happen to her. Yoruichi is my Captain I would never let anything happen to her either," I said. This gets a smile out of Soi Fon who takes her leave. After being confronted by Soi Fon I head home and go to sleep looking forward to training with my Captain.
