Chapter 21: Dangerous Heart

"Well, talk about a show, Ryuko." A familiar voice says hidden in the smoke.

"Get away from me." She glares at the hidden person.

"Care to explain?"

"I'm done with you. I'm never wearing Senketsu again or trusting you."

He scoffs. "That's fine. Cause your not human, you never were. You're a freak like me."

"Like me?" Ryuko asks.

The person chuckles. "See ya 'round red. Oh, and don't let the others know I was here. Bye~" She watches the person suddenly turn into electricity and run through electrical wires away from the area.

Hallelujah!

Mako crashes into Ryuko. "What are you saying, Ryuko?! Senketsu is your best friend in the whole world, Well other than AJ? The Ryuko I know would never say something so horrible! She wouldn't, she wouldn't, she wouldn't! That's not the Ryuko I know! It's not! It's not! It's not! It's not! It's not! It's not! It's not!"

Ryuko glares at Mako. "Then you don't know me. Everything about me was a big, fat lie. I ain't even human. Hell, I can't even die. I'm a goddamn monster, just like Ragyo!"

"You're not. "

Thomas and Tomoko watch on both looking at her worriedly as Jack walks forward his steps breaking the silence of the now empty area along with Mako's crying and Ryuko's breathing.

"Aw... someone's having a bad day, today." A feminine voice taunts from a rock nearby.

"Nui Harime." Jack glares.

Nui giggles. "Don't you think you're getting all grumbly-wumbly at the wrong person?"

"Bite me." Ryuko snarks back.

"Honestly, What happened to getting revenge for your daddy? Don't get mad at everyone else and ignore little old me."

Jack scoffs. "She shouldn't be concerned with you."

"Shes got bigger concerns to deal with." Nui!s head suddenly comes clean off its shoulders. Revealing Alan behind it the clump of fibers suddenly jumps behind him creating a visage of Ragyo.

"How droll of you Alan, you know Sorichiro wasn't my first choice but sadly she got you before I could."

Alan glares at the visage. "I'll say it one last time. Stay away from my friends and my family. Since you can't learn that lesson. I'll end you myself."

Ragyo smiles. "Magnificent, that's determination."

Ryuko glares at her mother. "All I want to do is kill you."

"If that's really what you want, come to Honnouji Academy, and we can put this little mother-daughter feud to rest."

"Oh, I'll be coming for you, all right. You can count on it."

Alan scoffs. "Honnouji will be a deathbed."

"Adieu, Mon Amie. See ya when we see ya!" Nui giggles

Ryuko snarls and begins walking towards Honnouji as Alan turns away and walks away ignoring the rest.

"Ryuko, Wait." Mikisugi orders.

"What do you want?"

"You're walking right into their trap. Cooldown before you do something stupid."

"Quit acting like you're still my teacher!" She cuts clean through his DTR and holds her scissor blade towards him as Thomas stares down Alan who hasn't looked back once. "This was all your fault from the start! You knew everything but you played it cool! Sitting back, laughing at me- laughing at the freak!"
