"Ugh. That was more than I asked for." AJ groans opening the door to the house just outside of Honno city.
"Agreed." Thomas remarks leaning against the wall next to the door.
"What'd you mean? Where'd you guys even go to look like this?" Seated in the living room Ryuko turns to the group entering the house.
The four males stand talking in the living room of their shared house, clothes torn and tattered as well as jet lagged from having to fly from New York all the way to Tokyo before driving to Honnouji Academy.
"Oh, you know, fighting aliens with the supernatural." Thomas says offhandedly answering her.
"Are... Are you fuckin with me?"
AJ turns to Ryuko "Surprisingly, no. He's not."
"Well, whatever it was doesn't matter now. Go get cleaned up, school starts in a few hours." Tomoko speaks up herself seated next to Ryuko.
"You know, I somehow forgot about that in all the madness." AJ shrugs
With a sigh, Thomas opens his eyes, looking down on AJ, who stands in a crowd flanked by his brother and Tomoko with Ryuko next to her and Mako bouncing around her. Lights shine from above and standing there, her silhouette being the only shadow. AJ glances up and rolled his eyes, he had the perfect view, and wasn't entirely impressed today.
"Today, we embark on the complete overhaul of the student council! If you participate, you will have free reign to attack your peers. There are no restrictions on weapons or tactics. Those who survive will meet here in seven days. These survivors will then fight to claim their social standing! A fight for change! An election in the form of a Battle Royale! Unlike normal elections! You will not choose someone to represent you! You will represent yourselves!"
"Way to turn the student body on itself." AJ says into a headphone. He swiftly gets a response from Thomas.
"It is a good way to make everyone doubt any potential allies."
"Your status! Your strength! Your way of life! In seven days, at 8:30 A.M., the survivors who have assembled here will have a sudden death runoff! And if you emerge victorious... I will personally grant you a brand-new goku uniform! Now! Students of Honnouji Academy, Fight!"
After the beginning of the announcement AJ and co. look at each other with smirks Thomas grabs Tomoko as AJ grabs Ryuko the four being taken to a high vantage point where they watch CR4ZY and Jack dash into the center of the action knives and spoon blazing, along with bodies flying everywhere.
Ryuku watches the bloodbath horrified at the brutality. "What the hell?!" She says as an eyeball flies past her, a finger falls just in front of her feet.
AJ sighs. "You don't want to get caught with those two when whipped into that kind of a frenzy."
Thomas rubs his arm. "Yeah."
Those who don't partake in Jack and CR4ZY's bloodbath watch as over two thirds of the student body are brutally defeated by the pair. And those who survive the elite four are far and few between themselves. Later in the day they watch as the city itself is in total anarchy as the boys along with Tomoko sit at the house spotting a car in the driveway AJ looks at Thomas who takes a deep breath. Entering the house the brothers keep their heads down when a bolt of electricity smacks the wall in front of them, stunning Tomoko and Ryuko.
"Gah!" Ryuko shouts.
"Wha-?!" Tomoko steps back into AJ.
"So boys, mind telling me why you don't bother coming home after doing what you did, and chose to come back here first?"
