Gauri smiled kissing her daughter Aashi on the cheek. "Good night.""Good night, Mumma!" the little girl gave a hurried kiss and ran away to her grandmother's room to get the remote of the TV before her grandmother did.
"See you mom. We've taken the keys." Omkara spoke kissing his mother on the cheek.
Jaanvi smiled. "Have fun. Come as late as you want but be safe."
Gauri grinned smiling at Jaanvi. "Mom..Aashi.."
"Oh Woman, I have been a mother to two. I will take care. The only thing is she fights a lot like you." Jaanvi spoke complainingly.
"I don't fight." Gauri argued folding her arms. Her mother in law was a stubborn kid at most times.
"Really? Who starts off with the lecture..." Jaanvu argued.
"Mom. Gauri. Not now. Please. We're getting late." Om interjected, getting to Gauri's side. The two women exchanged a glance and soon after that the couple left.
"See..she so cleverly blames me. She never says Aashi is stubborn like you." Gauri muttered walking upto the car.
"Gauri, admit it. She is like you in many ways." He spoke as he got into the car.
"Om, please. She sleeps like a log...like you. She is stubborn like you. She is over emotional like you. She is possessive like you. She is naughty like you. She loves playing with my.."
Omkara bit his lower lip holding back his smile, "go in, say that." He teased.
"Shut up."
"She loves playing with those like me." He said leaning on her seat touching her bosom. She slapped his hand away. "Dirty man. You've got her into all wrong habits. "
"It's sexy Gauri "
"Drive." She ordered him.
"Do you mean, 'ride' ? You?"he teased staring at her petal like lips.
"Omkara. Please drive, the car."
He laughed. "Tell me why are we going to this boring wedding party of your friend when we can do so much in this time." He spoke smiling to himself. She looked ravishing in that maroon short dress that ended right above her knees. It took him a week to convince her to wear that. Post pregnancy she was a mess cribbing about the extra curves she had been blessed with. He wondered why she thought she wasn't beautiful anymore. She was at her sexy best currently.
"Om. Please. "
"What? I am a man, whose crazy for his woman. Tell me now we can drive to the Oberoi Hotel and ..."
"God made you a father of a girl, but forgot to give you mature thinking brain cells."
" Of course not. By the way...how about...baby two?"
"I will runaway and..."
He laughed. "Mrs.Gauri is so scared."
"Mr.Omkara doesn't carry a baby for nine months." She sang looking at him through squeezed eyes.
"Alright. Alright. I surrender." He said focussing on the diversion ahead.
"How was your trip?" She asked. She hadn't had a chance to ask him about his one day trip to Delhi.
"Pretty boring but successful. How was your event?"
"Tiring!" She sighed, she headed the Event Management company of the Oberois but always made it a point to involve herself at all levels.
