future Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan

chapter 1

Andy was pacing up and down the waiting room trying to get a hold of Victoria Ripley, Lucas Ripley's wife.

" Where the hell is she! Does she not realize that her husband is in the hospital. I can not believe she's been married to the chief. Did anyone?" know. Andy said frantically.

She stopped pacing when Sullivan says nothing, but gives her a knowing look. " oh my god. You knew, I guess you knew cause he's your friend and boss." Andy said starting to pace the waiting room again trying to call Victoria again. "This is really bad Robert." She normally called him captain or Sullivan.
"Andy can you just stop and sit down for 5 minutes?" Sullivan said while placing his hands on her shoulders. "Your going to where yourself out and you won't be any help to help when she does get here. Now she is probably still with the crew cleaning up. Did you manage to get a hold of any of the crew?" He asked "No I don't even know who would be with her. Warren is here, I could send him out to look for her." Andy said running down the hall to find Warren. "Andy wait..." Sullivan said trying to stop her before she left to find him. "God damn it."

"Why can't I just tell her already. I can't tell her because I'm her boss, and she's one of the closest friends I have. Actually she's one of my only friends. If I told her how I feel that could ruin everything. If she didn't want me back... I would lose her as a friend and maybe more."

Later that night the crew found Victoria and are waiting for Ripley to get out of surgery. After a long and intensive surgery Maggie finally came out to update everyone on how he's doing. "He's ok but he had a tough surgery, hes going to be in ICU for the next 48 hours until we know he is ok and can be moved to recovery."
Victor is almost in tears clinging to Travis." Can I see him."
"They only let family in ICU." Maggie informed her.
" please Dr. Pierce I'm his wife, I need to see him, i was so mad at him cause he didn't show up and he was fighting for his life." Vic manages to get out
" okay, but everyone else has to stay behind the glass come with me." Maggie brings the crew up to see Ripley, and allows vic in the room with him. Everyone else just watches through the glass. Being in a situation again for Sullivan was hard. He sees what can happen to the people you care about so easily and doesn't think he wants to bot be with the one he cares about. First his wife, now his close friend. Time is limited so why not spend it together. Screw the consequences because for the first time since his wife died, he's found someone he could be happy with. Who makes him smile, laugh, and feel alive again.he leans down whispers in Andy's ear. "Andy, can you come with me?" She merely looks up and sees he's upset so she gently responds with a " yes of course."
