Smh Jovani is one of those people who have a difficult time expressing their feelings so they come off rude on purpose.

Never defined it before he might be slightly on the spectrum.

"You're dismissed." His last Professor of the day announced. Jovani got up and walked out of Boylston Hall.

"Hi Jovani." His project partner smiled at him and waved with her friends whispering.

"Hannah." He nodded in acknowledgement.

He knew women were still looking at him. Jovani didn't dislike attention. But too much was off putting for him. And something about a black man with an Italian accent made people give too much. He rolled his eyes and continued on his journey to Lamont Library.

He got there unscathed and unbothered before he took a seat at a table, pulling out his work. He saw Mage had packed him a lunch with a little note on it.

Hi honey,

Would you mind picking up Samira's medicine? She has the flu so she will be home this weekend. I couldn't find time off to get it to her today. If not, Marcus can. Thank you.

Aunt Mage

Jovani put the note back in his bag. He really needed space from Samira since he was now magically attracted to her.

He was going to say no. He didn't want to see her. So what if she was sick...and by herself... and hungry...and lonely.

F*ck it... he was going to take care of it and see if she was okay. He felt his mobile ring interrupting his thoughts. He knew this had to be someone from home, he never used this big ole thing. "Ciao?"

"Ciao fratello!" Iris piped. "Come stai fiore?" Jovani smiled. Iris was his little princess but he would never be nice enough for her to know that.

(Hello brother)

(How are you flower)

"Bene! E tu?" He could hear the smile in her voice.

(Good and you)

"I'm okay just stressed. College is a hell of a lot of work." He exhaled. "How's Samira?"Jovani tensed up. "She's fine why?"

"I haven't seen her in a while. It's hard being the only girl." She sighed. "Mom is with you." Jovani pointed out.

"Mom is barely a girl Jovani. Mom can beat up dad." They laughed until he heard bickering in the background. "Alessio wants to talk to you."

"Grazie!" Alessio called to Iris. "Hey Jovy!" Jovani rolled his eyes he hated that stupid nickname. "Hi Alli."

"How's America? Do you still hate it?" He snickered. "Yes... but a little less." He trailed off thinking about Samira. 'Stop it Jovani!' He stopped his thoughts from going there.
