Thanks for wishing me luck guys! I'm gonna murder this Physics Exam

August 8th, 1984

"Congratulations bambino!" Jolene gave Jovani a fat kiss on his cheek.

The past month had gone fast much to his dismay. He and Samira barely got time to spend together ever since Jovani was being watched.

But now his time in Boston has officially run out.

He had just graduated from Harvard University. His family flew over to be there. "Congrats Jovy." Alessio chuckled giving him a hug.

"I'm so proud of you kid!" Vincenzo gave him a big hug. "We never really formally met but hi congrats." Naomi laughed giving him a side hug.

"Thanks you two. When's the wedding...tomorrow?" He smirked. Vince pushes him playfully. He knew Jovani was teasing him because he proposed to Naomi after 7 months of being together.

(Fun fact my parents met then got engaged after dating for 7 DAYS and got married 7 months after. When you know you know🤷🏾‍♀️)

"Welcome to the family Naomi." Jovani gave  her a more welcoming hug. He would have to hear how Vincenzo managed to pull that off.

"Jovani!" Iris jumped on him. "Hey flower thanks for coming." He gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Donatello gave him a hug followed by Gianni. "I'm so proud of you Jovani." Gianni kisses his cheeks.

"Grazie Papa." Jovani smiled.

"I just want to say he graduated because of my amazing parenting skills." Marcus boasted. "He did what he was supposed to because of me." Jolene pushed him laughing. Her friend was so irritating.

More like your daughter
Jovani snickered to himself.

Mage and Marcus gave Jovani a hug. "It was great h-having you here for the past three years Jovani." Mage kisses his cheek.

"Thank you for everything you two. Ti amo." He kissed their cheeks before his eyes turned towards the girl who held his heart. She gave him a small box and a card.

Samira swallowed hard as she got the courage to guide her eyes up towards him. He was anticipating her greeting.

"Congratulations Jovani I'm really proud of you." Samira whispered before giving him a quick hug. "Thank you." He grinned.

His gaze lingered on her a little longer and Samira had to hold it together before she burst into tears. Jovani smiled back giving her another hug.

"Wow I guess they do get along now." Donatello murmured to Vince. Vince hummed looking at the two of them.

Samira swallowed quickly before excusing herself to the restroom. She got inside the stall and cried. He was going to leave Boston and return to Italy.

Her tears ran down her face nonstop. No more late night kisses. Secret dates. Afternoon naps. No Samira and Jovani time.

"Jovani what is something small you're afraid of?" Samira asked as he held her hand while she balanced on the train tracks.

"I'm not afraid of anything." He said blandly. "That's not true." She rolled her eyes before laughing when he picked her up and swung her around.

"Fine I am afraid of not having control in a situation." He admitted. Samira looked up at him. "How so."

"If something happened and there was nothing I could do. Someone else had the upper hand. I don't like not being the one orchestrating things I need to know what to expect." He was so honest Samira was surprised he opened up.
