My pen covered hand waves goodbye from the far side of the metal diamond fence.
The loud sound of a plane rumbling to life fills my silver coated ears.
I see a small palm reaching up to the window of the plane.
Fingers pressed against the glass.
Burning hot rain slashed down my face and cut my cheeks.
The plane slowly pivoted around on it's small wheeles.
Turning away from me just like the rest of them.
The wheeles twirled and whirled and ran along the pavement.
Gliding into the air and leaving me for the last time.
A hand waves from the window, five ink covered fingers wipe across the glass.
The diamond gate shakes and the wings take my best friend away.I love you
