Clueless Love (Lumine X Kody)

Chapter 1-Lumine in the house

-Aiden's Pov-

I call out to Kody, Silver and Sherry to come downstairs to the living room. As I waited in the livingroom I hear 3 grumpy groans coming from the hallway. Sherry was dragging her feet the whole way down the hall.

"Alright everyone we have a new guest who's going to be staying with us." I said with excitement. The white haired boy walks from Aiden's office to the living room, where he sees Kody staring at his ears.

"Oh great another one, dad we have enough weredogs in the house." Kody said in a rude and grumpy tone, while he stares daggers into Lumine. Who is now looking down at the floor a little upset.

"Kody please, I heard enough from you just be quiet for once and let your father speak." Silver snaps back at Kody's rude remark. Kody gives this look as if what Silver said didn't faze him. Sherry abruptly asks the white haired boy. "Hey kid what's your name?"

"I-I'm Lumine, nice to meet you all?" He wasn't really sure if he oftended anyone, or if he should ask their names. Aiden chuckled and introduced everyone to him. "That one's Sherry, Silver is the one next to her and-" I was interrupted by Sherry, who looked a bit angry. "Oh and that one is Aiden." She exaggerated 'that' with an attitude. "Anyway, that's my son Kody." He blankly said, with a hint of annoyance in his voice."Silver can you show Lumine to his room?"

I smiled at Lumine and he smiled back, Silver brought Lumine up to his room. Where the 2 talked and looked around the house.

After the 2 left the room I turned his focus to Kody and Sherry. "Sherry you can leave I need to talk to Kody alone." I gave a warm smile and Sherry went outside to day dream under a large shady tree. I sat Kody down on the couch and gave my son a serious look. That gave off a 'you fucked up and I'm going to tell you what you did wrong.'

"Kody I want you to know something about Lumine, I found him abandon and need of a home. So I took him in and all I want you to do is, be a little nicer to him. Also something i should mention, he's not a weredog and a werewo-" Kody cut him off with a snarky remark.

"I don't care if ge was abandon or that hes a werewolf i don't give a-" I was fuming with angry, my own son said this. "KODY listen! I know our past isn't the best with weredogs, but you need to grow up and stop the rude faze you're in." Kody was taken aback by his father's words.

Kody stood up and angrily stomped to his room, slamming the door as hard as he could. I was left on the couch with my face in his hands. 'Were did I go wrong, someone please help me.' Many thoughts filled my head. 'I feel hopeless.' I started crying a bit. 'A grown man crying on the couch. What else could go wrong today?' As my thoughts were filling my head, I didnt notice Silver walk into the room. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up.

"Hey you ok?" Silver sincerity asked me. I only managed to quietly mumble some words. "Yeah I'm fine, just tired." I don't know how he managed heard me but he did. "He'll come around eventually, maybe." Silver assured me, Lumine heard everyword Silverand Aiden said.

-Lumine's Pov-

That evening everyone expect Kody came down for dinner. "Do you want me to go get Kody for dinner?" I offered. Aiden sighs gave a tired look, with a forced smile. "No it's alright Lumine, this is.........normal." With that last word Kody creeps downstairs to the kitchen.

He sat Down on one of the chairs. "What's for dinner?" He said with barely any emotion. Sherry, Silver and I stay quiet silently eating our food. "Spaghetti and cooked vegetables." Aiden replies blandly. Kody starts to ask, but abruptly gets cuts off by Aiden. "Help yourself." Aiden said trying not to sound like he'd been crying.

Kody gets out of his chair and goes to grab a plate from the cupboards. As he starts to fill his plate with food, Silver and Sherry put their plates in the sink and leave. But glaring at Kody as they leave the room, to go to their rooms. Kody sits down at the dinner table with Aiden and I. I was a bit uncomfortable, sitting next to Kody I don't know why.

We were silently eat our food, it was really akward. When I finished my food I offers to wash the dishes. "You don't have to do that Kody will, but thanks anyway." I walked up to Aiden and whispered in his ear. "I need to talk to you about something when you're done eating." Then I walk off to my room but not before getting a weird look from Kody.

-Aiden's Pov-

I kept my head down while I ate the rest of my food. "What did Lumine want?" Kody takes a bit of a carrot. "Don't worry about it you should get going on the dishes soon, 'sighs' good night Kody." I said with not much emotion.

I get up to put my dishes away in the sink. After I kissed Kody on the head and went upstairs to Lumine's room, leaving Kody downstairs to eat alone. He finishes and starts on the dishes.

I knocked on Lumine's door and he opened it. "So Lumine what did you want to talk about?" I walked into his room and sat on the edge of the bed. After closing the door he sits down by the pillows and starts to speak. "I've noticed that, it doesn't look like you're getting much sleep." I was a bit taken aback by this question, i jyst thought for a moment before I responded. "Heh yeah you're right, just busy is all, don't worry about me." I clearly give a fake smile and he notices but doesn't intarigate me further.

"Promise me that you'll get more sleep?" Lumine puts out his pinky finger, I locks onto it with my pinky finger. "Promise."
I genuinely smile this time, as I get up and start to walk to the door, Lumine spoke. "Oh wait one more thing." I turn around to face him once again. "Is Sherry your girlfriend? You 2 act like a couple." I blush a bit, that question caught me off guard, I try to reply but I stuttered a bit.

"W-well no she's just a f-friend, anyway good night Lumine." Lumine stickers a bit, and says quietly. "I think he's lying to himself."

-Kody's Pov-

When I finally finished with the dishes, I started to make my way to the stairs. I hear Aiden and Lumine talking so I quietly peek from behind a wall. Aiden talking to Lumine half way out the door. He over hears the conversation between them. "Is Sherry your girlfriend?" Kody snickers and quickly covers his mouth. Aiden says goodnight to Lumine and swiftly walks into his room flustered. Kody runs up to his room and bursts into laughter. 'Did he hear me?' I put on my pjs on and get into bed, I eventually fall asleep.

-Aiden's Pov-

'I didn't think Lumine would ask that!' I felt flustered and embarrassed but I didnt know why. 'Sherry's just a friend nothing more, right?' I put on my pj pants and got into bed. "Ugh I need to get some sleep." I heavily sigh into my pillow, tossing and turning all night. Eventually falling asleep past midnight.
