Chapter 9-Exposed (finalé)

-Lumine's Pov-

Once I heard Elijah state that Kody liked me. The tension in the room was immense. I remembered that I wrote something for Kody cause I thought that something like this would happen.

My throat hurt to speak cause of the previous day, the bee sting swelled up my throat. So after I heard those words I decided to get the note I wrote him instead of trying to explain things. I would've been a mess.

When I came back down the stairs Kody looked shocked, surprised that I even came back out of my room. "Lumine?!" Kody asked shockingly. I went and sat on the coach, I ushered for him to come sit with me. He sat next to me scooting away a little.

I handed him the note to read, he opened it.

So I kinda had a feeling that you liked me, it was kind of obvious half way through of knowing you.

What I'm trying to say is that I know you like me and it's ok that you like me.

I like you too, I never told anyone about my sexuality before because I've always been punished for it. I'm really happy that you're dad invited me here to start a new life.

Living with this family has been amazing, they're very supportive, kind, caring and can be chaotic most of the time.

Anyway all I'm saying is, Kody will you go out with me? Yes or no?

I seen Kody look around for something, it was a pen. He circled either yes or no and then wrote something beside it. He handed it back to me and I opened it up. He had circled yes and wrote underneath the word; 'that's my line and yes I really like you too. ❤️

He had drawn a heart next to the last word he wrote, I thought it was cute. I looked up from reading the note and smiled at him. I put the note on the coffee table and hugged him, he hugged back.

Aiden, Sherry and Silver were all watching everything unfold. Aiden and Silver starting crying and Sherry who was smirking. He had to comfort Aiden and Silver, but they ran away from him and over Kody and Lumine. Lumine laughed and Kody looked away embarrassed.

"Kody *sniffle* I except you for  *sniffle* who you want *sniffle* to be or who you *sniffle* want to date, don't you ever *sniffle* forget that ok?" Aiden sobbily said. "Thanks dad."

"Yeah Kody, I except *sniffle* you too and you *sniffle* as well Lumine." Silver also sobbily said.

"Lumine listen, live your life to the fullest. Kody, go get your man." Sherry said while trying to get the snot from Aiden off of her shirt.
