Chapter 11

The sports festival continued without a hinge, I mean besides Bakugou having to be chained to a pole and restrained due to Todoroki collapsing during there fight, yeah everything was good.

Because of the sports festival everyone had off the next day, and Kyoko decided to do only thing she could think to do which was visit her sister at the hospital. Kyoko headed to the hospital wearing high waisted shorts, a black tank top with a dark blue flannel and knee highs. Walking in she was met with the smell of disinfection and people running around. Kyoko raised her eye brow as a nurse almost knocked her down and headed over to the nurse's station to see Akari looking overwhelmed, her dark brown hair sticking up everywhere.

Akari's eyes widened at the sight of Kyoko "KYO! Good you're here!"

"Hey butt face what's going on?" Akari rolled her eyes at her younger sister "Don't call me that at work, and we're short staffed. I need help"

Kyoko new that look and made her fingers look like guns "On that note goodbye!" and turned around ready to skip out.

"Oh no you don't!" Akari leaped over the counter and caught Kyoko before she could run, gripping her shoulder she gave Kyoko the scariest look "You're going to be a good sister and help me aren't you Kyoko?"

Kyoko grew pale "Uh yes ma'am!" Akari's look now gone and placed with a pleasant face "Good! I just need you to deliver the food to floor 5, it's easy"

Kyoko arrived to the floor, once talking to one of the nurses they showed her the cart and she began doing to the job given to her. It was an hour and she was just about done, just the last door.

Grabbing the plate, she opened the door cheerfully "Hello, I'm here to deliver your meal please enjoy!" Once inside she was taken back

"To-Todoroki!" There in front of her was Todoroki in casual clothes sitting in front of a woman who had silver hair and brown eyes.

"Fujita" Todoroki breathed, he had a milk carton in his hand and was sitting against the window sill.

"Shoto, is this one of your class mates?" the women asked kindly confused of the interaction between the two of them.

Todoroki spoke confused as well as to why Kyoko stood there with a plate of food "Um, yes she is. This is Fujita, Kyoko. Fujita this is my mother..." Todoroki trailed off at the last part, his mother only gave a warm smile as Fujita placed the food on the table and walked over.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Todoroki, Rei"

"Fujita, Kyoko. Please call me Kyoko it's a pleasure to meet you" Kyoko bowed at the women, who only smiled and let out a small laugh "Oh, no please. The pleasure is mine, thank you for caring for my son" Kyoko looked up to see the women reach of Todoroki's hand and hold it. Her smile was so warm and welcoming.

"So what are you doing here Fujita?" Todoroki asked, putting the carton down, Kyoko gave a nervous smile "Oh my sister works here and she needed help"

"Your sister?"

"Yeah Akari Fujita"

Rei Todoroki clasped her hands together "Akari! She's incredible! An amazing nurse, and hero! I've seen her first-hand work with patients, it's truly amazing her quirk"

Kyoko smiled "Yes, I wish I had her quirk. Its amazing what she has done" Rei and Kyoko talked for some time, while Todoroki stood there watching. His heart felt warm as he watched the two of them interact, he didn't want to interrupt but rather listened.

Kyoko's stomach let out a small growl and her face grew a deep red "Oh! I'm sorry, well I'll be off now and get something to eat. It was a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Todoroki" Kyoko gave one more bow and began to head towards the door. Rei looked over to her son to see him sit up and step forward but stopped himself. She smiled softly, she gave Todoroki a small nudge "Why don't you two get something to eat together"
