Ciel's POV I woke up in a daze. My head hurt ... actually ... my whole body hurt. I was now starting to feel the aftermath of my stupidity. I yawned. I looked around and saw I was alone. I then remembered what happened last night and my face got red. What the fuck Ciel? I then remembered how I asked him to stay with me, and he did.
He slept right beside me. I don't know what went over me. I looked to the side table and I saw a glass of water and pills beside it and a note.
Take these to help ease your pain. Don't lie and tell me you're not in pain when last night I couldn't even move without you flinching. There's some extra clothes for you to take a shower. Then join me downstairs. X, Gray
I took the pills quickly and headed to the bathroom and took a much needed shower. The lukewarm water was exactly what my sore body needed. I quickly got out of the shower and changed. I felt weird once again walking around in a button up shirt and his boxers. It's this or being naked idiot. I sighed and headed downstairs.
As I was reaching the end of the stairs the doorbell rang and Gray quickly went to open it. I sneak up behind him to get a closer view of who was at the door. Without realizing I was behind him, Gray opens the door completely revealing my half-naked self. I freeze. I see those blue eyes looking me up and down. What the fuck is he doing here?! He raises his eyebrow. Just then Gray realizes I'm there, and stands right in front of him to block his view.
Frustrated I stand beside Gray. "What are you doing here?" I ask glaring at him. "You know him Val?" Asks Gray. "Unfortunately". Grayson then looks between me and - whatever his name is. He looks at me and smirks. "Good morning Ms. Gianni I came here to escort you to work. I'm sorry I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Alessandro Romano. Starting today I'll be your personal bodyguard".
So his name is Alessandro... it suits him... I think. I internally roll my eyes. "Your old driver Lorenzo asked me to give you these. I'll wait outside for you whenever you're ready". He hands me a small suitcase, I take it and shut the door. How did he know where I was?
I turn around and see Gray with his arms crossed over his bare chest. With an expression I can't read. "Who was that Valentine?" he asks. "Nobody. Just a bodyguard the old man assigned me" I answer. He looks at me skeptically "What happened? Since when did you need a bodyguard?" I sigh. "It's a long story. I'll explain everything tonight. Let's have diner around 8". He nodded. "Great. I'll pick you up at 7 then. You have a lot of explaining to do" he grins.
I go upstairs to change. I take a look inside the bag and see that there's an outfit and shoes. Along with some of my makeup. And then a folder with the information I asked for on my bodyguard. I quickly get changed and put on just enough makeup to cover the bruises. I quickly then stuff the folder inside my purse. I pack all my other stuff into the suitcase and head downstairs.
I look at my outfit. It's quite cute and different from what I would wear. One of the new maids must've picked it out. It's an all white outfit. It looks good.

"See you tonight then. I have to go to the office". He nods and picks up my bags and walks to the doors. I carry my purse. He opens the door and I see he's still there. Leaning against the sleek white Rolls Royce. He stands up straight and gets my bags and puts them on the back. I turn to Gray. I hug him goodbye and he kisses my forehead.
"I'll call you". I nod and my new bodyguard opens my door and I step inside. I quickly put on my sunglasses to avoid any eye contact with him. For some reason just looking at this guy pisses me off. He drives off and we head to work ... or so I thought...
I hear my phone ringing and it's a call from the old man. I pick up
C: what do you want? O: I see you're well. C: that didn't answer my question. Now answer before I lose my patience. O: I want you to have breakfast with Alessandro. I think it's only fitting that you get to know the man that will be protecting you. Don't you think? C: Youu- O: Ah my sweet. Before you start with your cursing. Think of it as a business meeting. After all it's in your best interest. C: you're not really giving me a choice are you? O: Darling you always have a choice. I'm only advising you that it's in your best interest. I'll see you later at the office. I'm sure there will be much to discuss.
I quickly end the call. The nerve of this man. I really can't with him. "Turn the car around. Me and you have a meeting". I give him the address. He looks up and our eyes meet through the rear-view mirror. He has the audacity to smirk. The way he looks at me infuriates me. It's almost as if he's looking down on me and I hate it.
I chose to ignore it and get the file in my purse and look through it. I quickly memorize the file. The car then comes to a halt. We've arrived. My door is quickly opened as the Valet opens my door and me and him are escorted inside.
