Ch 22

Pring walked away with a satisfied smile..  She was happy for her friend, she just had to give a slight push..

Beam was still processing what just really happened.. His cousin who said 'I am straight' just confessed he love to a man.. He wanted to ask Wayo for an explanation.. But after waiting for few minutes he got to know that Wayo won't be back soon from Phana, so he thought of giving them some private time

Phana pov

My Wayo just confessed he like.. No no no.. He loves me..

But that girl Pring is really cunning, no I can not say cunning she helped me so Pring is a clever girl..
Out of blue she asked me to come out and I just jumped out thinking she saw me.. But am thankful to her.. Because of her My Wayo confessed..

Now am standing in front of my love.. Pring already left but Beam he is waiting for Wayo..

How I wish Beam gave us some time..

There there..

Beam is also walking away..

Did God give all his blessings to me.. Everything is favoring me..

Wayo is trying to use all possibilities to run away.. When he saw Beam too walking away.. Wayo turned to go with him..

But not this time...

I grabbed his hand.. He looks shocked, but not this time you are not going anywhere.. I have to talk to him..

"Wayo" I called him as softly as I can.. And I can not believe it's my voice..

".... " Wayo was still in shock

"Please can we talk" Wayo is still struggling in my grip, but this time am not leaving him till he agree to talk.. "I won't hurt you, please"

"I know you would never hurt me" Wayo

He believes in me.. He trust me.. His these few words made that clear..

"So can we.............. talk" Phana

"Hmm... Okay" Wayo was hesitating "but leave my hand first"

"You won't run right??" I slowly loosened my grip.. But as soon as I loosened Wayo pulled his hand away..

"Am sorry I don't want to force you.. But you never leave me a choice.. " Phana

"Speak" Wayo

"This might be new to you.. But can you give me a chance... I won't force you to be with me.. But just give me a chance to show you am sincere"

Wayo had a cold expression

"We can start being friends.. I have never felt like this" Phana

"Like what? " Wayo

"To chase someone??" Phana

Wayo's ear was slightly red now..

"Phana" Wayo

Wow!! I love hearing my name from him

"Hmm... " Phana

"I don't know how I feel actually.." Wayo looked at me and continued "so I might not treat you properly"

"I know and it's fine with me" Phana said excitedly

"Okay.. I might not allow you to behave like other lovers to me.. " Wayo

So are we lovers now.. I can feel am blushing now..

"Lovers!!" Phana

"Hmm I mean.. Ahh.. You know.." Wayo stuttered "you know what I mean"

"Yeah.. I get it" Phana could not stop smiling.. "Sooo"

"So.. Okay" Wayo

"Okay.. What?? " Phana

"We can start being friends... I mean we can try.. I can give you a chance" Wayo

"Yessssss" Phana screamed in happiness.. And tried to pull Wayo to a hug

Wayo suddenly moved back

" No touching " Wayo

Oh it's new for him.. I can understand.. He at least gave me a chance..

"Okay.. Sorry.. " I can not stop my stupid smile..

"Can I hold your hand" Phana requested

"Not yet" Wayo

I knew Wayo was not ready yet and I was okay with it.. But I showed him a sad face just to tease him..

"Am sorry it's just" Wayo

"It's fine.. I can understand" Phana.. I was mentally grinning

"Also don't let others know, other that our close friends.. I don't want others to.. " Wayo did not complete

"I know.. It's fine and perfect with me.." Phana now became serious..

"Okay" Wayo suddenly became shy "then I will go now"

"Hmm.. Okay" Phana watched Wayo leaving.. "Can I start calling you"

"Hmm.. I think it's.." Wayo showed a serious face., Phana was now actually hurt thinking Wayo won't like even talking in phone.. That when Wayo said "Okay"

Phana started jumping around in happiness.. Wayo said 'okay'and ran away

Forth pov

Phana was grinning like a mad man the whole time and am sure it had something to do with Wayo..

Am happy, it's after a month am seeing him this happy..

Kit was beside me.. Actually he was always with me because Phana was in depression most of the time and Ming was most of the time with his girlfriend which made Kit sad all the time..

Kit squeezed my hand "Forth, did Phana hit his head somewhere.. Why is he smiling like this"

"I think it's Wayo, he might have talked to him..... Positively!!" We looked at our friend with great hope

"Or Wayo rejected him and he went mad.." Kit

Now we both looked at our friend worried.. It can also be a chance..

"Phana.. Phaaannaaa" Kit shook his shoulder to bring him to reality.. But Phana was still smiling..

"It's getting creepy.. Tell us what happened" Froth

Kit was sitting worried beside Phana.. Phana suddenly hugged Kit...

"He gave me a chance" Phana

"What? " Kit

"Wayo gave me a chance" Phana said smiling

I suddenly hugged Phana who was hugging Kit.. So it became a group hug..

I was happy for my friend but more than that I was happy because I will get to meet Beam..

When Phana go to see Wayo.. I can accompany him and see Beam..

Oh my god am so happy..

After releasing our hug.. Kit looked at me unamused..

"Now why are you grinning" Kit raised his eyebrows..

"Nothing" Forth

Now I know why Phana was grinning like crazy

Phana explained everything that happened a while ago.. And what all Pring planned to do.. I was amazed to know Pring helped them..

But now I know who can get me help to court Beam..

Ha ha ha... But as far as I know Pring is a cunning women I should be careful too..
