Knowing there was a gift from Beam, Forth couldn't keep his heart at peace.. He enquired all his friends and none of them saw him...

Beam's gift created a turmoil in everyone's heart.. All kept looking for chances to know when Beam came there..

Forth checked the video tape of birthday party for a dozen times to know, if he will get at least a glance of Beam.. When nothing was working he  went behind the gift..

Their whole gang was there looking for Beam, and was shocked to see a familiar figure placing Beam's gift among the other gifts..

Kit's pov

Milli called me out to have a chat personally.. I don't know why.. It's super awkward.. But I had no choice, I had to go..

When Forth saw it was Milli who placed the gift.. We knew our link towards Beam is Milli.. And that idiot Ming didn't even know anything about it..

We figured out Milli knew Beam all this time, that is why Forth was getting strange stares from Milli.. So when she asked me to meet personally, everyone including Pring forced me to meet her and gather information about Beam

So here I am in my own cafe as a customer waiting for Milli..

Milli came within few minutes of wait.. She is not that old woman.. She is all over friendly and joyful..

"Kit... Thank you for coming" Milli

"..... " Kit just nodded and smiled awkwardly

"Actually I don't want to beat around the bush.. Ahh.. Am.. Sorry" Milli

"What? Why?" Kit

"For everything.. The past.. I was young and a JERK" Milli

"I .. It's .. okay.." Kit was our of words..

"No just listen" Milli

Kit went silent.. He was having a strange feeling..

"I was there and I saw everything.. I know it was Ming who did.. I mean kissed.." Milli signed "I was not angry at you.. It was Ming who I was angry at... But.. I took it out on you"

Kit was listening patiently.. Even though he had many questions to ask

"I was feeling bad for myself back then, for falling for a person like Ming.. But I needed him then" Milli looked down "I was.. pregnant.." Kit was shocked to hear it..

"I was coming to tell Ming about it.. But I saw him getting intimate with you.. So I slapped you.. Am sorry" Milli

"I can understand" Kit with being shocked was an understatement

"No.. I mean yes.. I.. Am sorry Kit.. I always remember how you endured every humiliation.. You never deserved it" Milli was now weeping

"Hey.." Kit sat next to Milli.. "It's fine.. It's all past"

"No.. It's not.. I can see you still like him.. I saw your look for him.." Milli sobbed "Am sorry.."

"Ahh.. Sorry about that" Kit felt embarrassed being caught by his crush's wife

"If you want to.. I mean.. You love him" Milli was hesitating

"Hoo...noo... I know were this is going.. Am not a home wrecker... He is your kids father" Kit raised both his hands to show his surrender

Milli laughed between her cry..

"Just talk to him.. And to let you know.. He is still the same.." Milli chuckled "He still thinks of the society the most"

Kit was happy for unknown reason..

"So we are fine now" Milli was back to her new cheerful attitude

"Ahh.. Yeah.. It was years back.. So yes" Kit

"So how did you manage your business" Milli

"As you can see.. Fine.." Kit said pointing to the cafe "And what about you..how did you manage everything??"

"I dropped out of the college when I got pregnant.. Thankfully Ming was at least ready to take responsibility.." Milli chuckled "Later I took another degree and now work for a private firm" Milli

Kit could say she was hiding things behind her smile..

"So what degree did you take??" Kit

"Ahh... Human... Ahh science" Milli

"Ohhh okay... So were are you working now??" Kit felt like Milli is hiding something about her job

" Am a personal assistant" Milli

Kit was now sure Milli is keeping her profession a secret.. Since no one in their gang knew about Milli's profession.. Not even Ming had a proper description

That's when Kit's phone rang, it was Forth who was impatiently waiting for Beam's news.. Kit looked at the time it has been nearly an hour..

Kit connected the call, but instead of replying Forth, Kit talked to Milli..

"Milli, can you be honest with me" Kit

"Of course.. I will be.." Milli  smiled

"Then do you know where Beam is??" Kit

Milli's face suddenly changed.. She had a cold expression

"No.. I don't" Milli

"Please, we know.. You are in touch with him" Kit

"Is it for Forth" Milli asked coldly

Forth who was outside the cafe.. Cancelled the call and Marched in when he realized Milli won't reveal anything to Kit

"Forth.. " Kit signed

Milli was unpleased with the situation.. She looked at Kit demanding answer

"It's not as it looks.. Just listen to him" Kit pleaded

"I thought we were going to be friends" Milli sternly looked at Kit with a feeling of being used

"Hai... I followed him.. This was not his plan" Forth

"Am not interested in talking to you" Milli looked at Forth

Forth suddenly showed his phone with the video of Milli placing Beam's gift among the the gifts..

"I knew it was a bad idea" Milli murmured knowing she has been caught

"I just know something is not right.. Just.. He is behaving as a ghost" Forth

"Why do you care??" Milli raised her voice

"Because.... It's... I.... Because I want to know" Forth was taken aback by Milli's attitude

"Why.. So you can betray and torture him" Milli hissed

"Betray!!" Kit was now shocked and looking at Forth demanding answers... Only Phana and Forth knew about the night.. The night Forth and Beam made love and the very same night Forth left Beam all alone..

"See.. I had no choice.. I had to leave" Forth felt dejected

"You could have just left.. Why did you have to.. Kidnap and torture him???" Milli slammed her fist on the table

"Kidnap.. " Kit looked at Forth unbelievably

"KIDNAP".. Forth
