Beam pov

What was that..  Forth was all over me..  Does he!!..  Nooo..  No way..  He is way too manly.. 

But my heart..  Can you please just listen to me once..  Stop beating like this,  go on a normal mode..  Beam you will get any heart disease if this continues.. 

I was still in the campus parking lot...  Inside the car with all the thoughts running in his head.. 

'Forth.. Forth.. Forth.. ' Beam shouted in his car... 'Get out of my head..  Ahhh' Beam pulled his hair

Air air..  I need air...  I rolled down my car glass..  I rested leaning over the head rest of my car.. 

"Phana listen.. " It was Forth's voice..  I rolled up the glass..  I don't want to meet them now..  I need to clear my head... 

"Beam is not.. " Did Forth mention my name..  I opened a little of the window to hear them..

Am not eavesdropping..  No am not..  They said my name so am just listening to what they are talking about me.. Without them knowing.. Am not wrong..

"Am I not good.. Did I do something bad..  " Phana was questioning himself.. 

Through the rearview I could see disappointment in his face..  He was sad,  discouraged,  lost..  don't know what else..  but I felt sorry for him.. 

"No Phana you are the best..  Don't be like this.." Kit was comforting him..

"But he like someone else" Phana got teary eyes  "why not me?? "

"Are you guys deaf..  Wayo and Beam are not lovers.. " Forth stormed at his friends.. "I confirmed it they are just friends"

Wait did he just say I and Wayo LOVERS.. 
WHAT!!!!

Who told them this nonsense..  Is that why Phana was sad till now.. 

Hooo noo..  Is this the way Wayo found to break Phana..  That idiot.. am going to kill..  did he just use me..

Beam hit the horn

Not now.. I saw Phana and Kit was looking around to find the source of horn..  But Forth was looking at me with a smile.. 

Is he smiling or smirking..

I need to go  from here..

Beam drove back to his house..  Not much surprising Wayo was in front of his house..

"Beam we need to talk..  I... " Wayo

Punch 👊

Beam punched Wayo's face.. 

"Why did you hit me? " Wayo

"That's for trying to kiss me.. " Beam lifted his hand for next punch " And this is for lying that am you lover"

Wayo blocked Beam's punch "Wait wait..  I can explain.."

"Then explain.." Beam was glaring at Wayo "or do you..  actually..  Like me that way" Beam asked in confused tone..

"Eww noo..  You are my brother nothing else.." Wayo

Beam breathed out in relief

"Then explain why did you lie?? " Beam

"See I don't want to hurt him or give him hope for something that he will never get" Wayo looked down "He is a good guy..  But I don't feel like that for him..  So I had to break his expectation..  So that he can move on"

"But you failed" Beam

Wayo looked up.. 

"I know..  " Wayo

"You could just state some girls name..  Why me??" Beam

"You know this is his secret..  So I didn't want anyone else to know about this..  You know the people around us..  They will mock him.. And isolate him..  He has a reputation in college..  He might try to find the truth..  Sooooo..  I thought if he comes to you..  You already know so you will help me out.." Wayo

"Do you know..  You make no sense now.. " Beam

"I know" Wayo face palmed "I was confused and...  It's complicating"

Beam just nodded.. 

"Everything was going well..  But that's stupid friend of his..  Idiot Forth" Wayo

My heart skipped a beat hearing that name.. 

'Idiot control' I was calming myself

"He asked to prove that's why I had to kiss you.. " Wayo suddenly looked at Beam.. "But why did you move..  You could have just hit me there.." Wayo pouted "and how did I end up kissing Phana"

"That is still a question to me... " Beam

They went silent for few minutes to process what would have happened back then.. 

"Ok just let it be..  We will somehow figure it out.. Come in, Grammie will be happy to meet you.. " Beam

They walked towards the house

"So how was the kiss?? " Beam asked out of blue

"Sweet" Wayo palmed his mouth suddenly realized what he just said.. 

Hha ha ha..  Beam could not hold in..  he burst out laughing..

Wayo was all flushed

"So you don't like him..  But his kiss was sweet"..  Beam teased him

" Am going home" Wayo turned back to go home

"Ho no..  I will stop come in.. " Beam held Wayo's shoulder..  "But on a serious note..  I suggest you to give it a try.."

"I don't know" Wayo murmured

"He seems to be really in love.. " Beam

"I know..  I could read that from his face..  That's what am scared of" Wayo

"Am there with you.. " Beam

"Thanks" Wayo

When they reached the door

"Soo sweet ahh" Beam teased again

"Am going.. " Wayo turned around

"Okk okk..  No more"..  Beam playfully grabbed Wayo to his house...
