(Sorry is the actual story didn't load before, hopefully it should do now)
As I got dressed, it felt a little weird not having to wear a school uniform, since you had to back in England, but I'm not complaining, because the school uniform sucked. When I was finished, I picked up my school bag and walked to Toby's house, so we could walk together. I knocked on the front door and Toby answered, bag on his back.
"Ready to go Toby?" I ask him, he nods and walks outside, shutting the door behind him.
"How was your night then Toby?" I ask, trying start a conversation.
"A little weird no having you there, but ok I guess."
"It was a little wired not having you there as well, but I guess we can't always stay together can we?"
"N-no, I guess not"
"Exactly!" I smiled at him, but he only gave a half-hearted smile back. My smile faded "are you ok Toby?" I ask, nothing but worry in my voice and on my face.
"I'm ok Becky, really." i said, almost mumbling and looking away.
"No it's not you know you can tell me." I say, putting a hand on my shoulder. Toby hit it off as if he couldn't be bothered with anything anymore. "Toby please what is wrong?!"
"Just drop it ok Becky?"
"Ok" I say, suspicion riddled in my voice. He sighed a sigh of relief and we continued walking silence. Once we got to the school, I could see why he wanted to stay quiet. As we walked through the front gates, I got a few sleazy remarks from the douchebags of the school, but then the taunting came for Toby. Things like "Why are you with him?" Or "are you a retard as well or something?" But the stupid nicknames came as well like "retard", "Tick Boy" and "Ticci Toby".
I wanted to punch them all, beat them to a pulp, but I just arrived and I don't wanna get expelled rift away.
I got bullied almost immediately when I arrived, receiving almost the same as Toby. Dumb nicknames like "Lady Retard" and the less creative ones like "British Idiot" but I got that at my old school, so I guess I was used to it.
As the days, weeks, months went past, me and Toby spent every day together. I got the occasional BF here and there, but never anything serious. Toby and mine bullying got worse, sometimes physical, but we were always there for each other. Helping each other through the tough times. He even had to talk me out of suicide on more than one occasion. I was always bullied, talked about behind my back and people mocking almost everything I did, but never this bad. Taunting in my face, food dumped on my head, getting pushed to the floor and getting trodden on, almost a broken arm once because some of the guys picked me up and threw me into a big skip-thing.
The decision was made. Me and Toby were going to be homeschooled together.
