Chpt. 2

Draco Malfoy pov.

I was sitting at the table with other Death Eaters.  We are all discussing about Harry Potter.  The Boy Who Lived, is the boy who they are using to get what they want.  They can't be allowed to do so.  Snape was the one to kill Dumbledore.  I hesitated but then I said the first word but Snape took over for me when I least expected it.

I asked him why.  His explanation  was that he made an unbreakable vow with my mother.

"There is another piece of information that was found after Dumbledore's death."  Pius Thicknesse said to Lord Voldemort

None of us are afraid to say his name.  We all know the reasoning behind it and follow him willingly.  But no one else could know that.

"What is it?"  Lord Voldemort responded looking intrigued with another secret of the former Headmaster of Hogwarts.

"A girl who is friends with Harry Potter but who is also adopted by muggles."  Pius says letting us know who he is speaking of.

Everyone stops and looks at him and Lord Voldemort.  I look at my parents and my aunt and uncle.

"Is it Hermione Granger?"

Everyone looks at me and I roll my eyes.

"She is a mudblood.  What is special about that piece of information?"

"Why would you bring that name in my house?"  My father ask Pius annoyed

"An entire journal filled with her information was written about her.  It was safely hidden in a small comparment in Dumbledore's vault.  She is born from the name of Lestrange."  The man named Pius Thicknesse states holding up an old, leather journal with a dark red covering.

"What?!"  My aunt, Bellatrix shouts outloud.

"Give me that book Pius."  Rodolphus Lestrange says standing out of his seat and walking over to Pius.

Pius gives him the book and Rudolphus flips to the first page and walks over to Bellatrix.  He sits back down next to her and shows her the first page.

Her eyes get bigger and she holds the journal herself.

"It's true...it's true..."  my aunt continues to say this in a whisper over and over again.

"Well, what is it?"  Lord Voldemort ask my aunt and uncle.

They look at him and both say "It's true."

Lord Voldemort nods his head and sends orders to Pius.  Pius is to bring back anything else that has to do with my cousin and what happened to her.

I will apologize to her the minute I get the chance.  She is apart of my family even though I have a feeling she will still try to annoy me.

"She will be with Potter.  Is it safe?"  One of the lower level death eaters ask.

My family stops talking and look at the man who dares suggest that we just abandon my cousin.

"Avada kedavra!"  My aunt shouts and kills the death eater.

"She is my daughter.  She is ours and we will get her back."  Bellatrix Lestrange says with powerful eyes.

"That is my baby girl.  Only a fool would think that they can keep her from us."  Rodolphus Lestrange says with venom and truth in his voice.

"The next time we encounter the child, do not harm her but bring her back safely.  No harm is to come to any Death Eater children, understood."  Lord Voldemort says and everyone agrees and leaves for the next mission.
