When a zombie comes after you, it means someone really wants you dead. Trust me; you would not want a zombie chasing after you. Forget the zombies that you see in movies, forgot the slow paced stupid creatures. Zombies were vicious and quick. They carry out tasks to the very end.

They also stank. Really badly.

I heard the footsteps as the stench grew stronger. I had no way to escape. The footsteps stopped at the door and a voice boomed loudly.

"This is not Andy. Who is it who smells like him?"

I stayed silent.

"Answer or face untimely death."

"Um. I'm his cousin?" I yelled back questioningly.

"I do not wish for you to give me you relative information. Your name."

I thought it over, "I've always wanted to be Bob..."

No answer.

"But I'm Bill so I can't help it." I pretended to grimace, "What's your name?"

The door slammed opened and the zombie stepped in. It looked fairly human, although his face was a bit too pale and he stank so badly.

"You lie." He growled, making him look like Dracula, "Your real name or I will kill you."

I like taking chances, "Sorry, you caught me out. I'm Fred. Hi."

The monster attacked me and I could do nothing about it. He pushed me against the window. For some reason, I was thinking about food even though the smell of the zombie was making me sick.

"I hate people like you. So damn cocky," It whispered, yellow cat like eyes watching me, "Don't worry, I'll make your death seem... accidental."

And then he pushed me off the third floor window. I really thought I was going to die. When you fall head first, that's usually what happens to you. But I felt a presence carrying me softly to the ground. From above I heard the zombie scream, I looked up to see it shocked and still.

"O período de um demônio?" He shouted, "Why are you protected?"

I heard Tony laughing in my ear, "We can't see you killed Linny. Let's go!"

So I ran. I kept on my feet till I felt my aching bones wear out. I went inside the nearest phone booth and dialed Andy's cell phone. This time, he answered immediately.

"Lin, thank god. You escaped."

"Yeah, pretty much." I sighed, feeling Gluttony's hungry presence, "Um. What the hell happened?"

"It's been killing psychics like us. Making them seem like accidents. The others couldn't feel anything wrong at the crime scene but I knew Lin, I could smell it..."

I was so hungry. What a day...

"I'm glad you're safe. Get home and lock the door, put up the incantations, everything. Don't open it to anyone till I get there okay?"

"Um. Yeah." Damn I really needed to eat.

"Take care coz." He hung up, leaving me alone and worried.

The zombie was outside, smiling at me. I was shivering now and with a deep breath I jolted out and ran to the doors of my apartment. I was a fast runner but I knew I couldn't outrun the undead. They never get tired. It caught up quickly and slammed me across the alley. I felt the air rush out of me as I fell to the ground, my vision blurry and my legs shaking from exhaustion. The zombie came up to me, with a smug smile and hungry eyes.
