It was getting late, it was about 10:30 and Alex was still at Sadie's party. Jack had been pissing her off all night, she hated him so much he made the night so much worse.

Alex sat outside on the porch. The cold winter wind blew through her hair. Cooper had took the car, since he had no other way to get home. Yeah he could have called an Uber but he didn't have his phone. And Alex wanted to call and Uber to take her home, so she could go cry herself to sleep. Cooper had left his phone at the party when he left. So Alex was gonna give it to him the next time she saw him.

She pulled her hood on as her teeth chattered from the cold breeze. "What are you doing outside?" She looked to the door seeing Sadie. She shrugged. "It's nice and quiet out here, plus I am gonna walk home" she said setting her back against the house wall. "No your not, maybe someone inside can give you a ride" she said pointed towards the house. Alex shook her head. "It gives me time to think about things anyways" Sadie sighed. "Don't worry about cooper, he will just come crawling back to you, but I don't think you should take him back" Alex gave Sadie a confused look. "Why?" Alex asked. "He did break up with you in a really messed up way" Alex turned away, knowing Sadie was right. "I'm gonna head home" Alex said. "Please be careful, call me when you get home" Alex nodded giving Sadie a hug. "I'll see you tomorrow" Sadie said waving Alex goodbye.

Alex walked on the side walk looking down at her feet, even glancing up to make sure she was going the right way. She had been walking for about 30 minutes, and wasn't even close to her house. She heard a car behind her but she didn't look. Then it past her, and stopped backing up. Alex's heart started to race a bit till she got to the window. "Oh it's you" she grinned seeing jack in the drivers seat. "Why the fuck are you walking at 11:15 at night?" He asked leaning his head out of the window. "Because I had no ride" she said crossing her arms. "Then get in the car" she shook her head. "No I'm not getting in the car with you, your an asshole" he groaned. "Just get in the car Alex" she sighed rolling her eyes, walking over to the passenger seat and getting in. "Thank you" he sighed.

The car was silent. Alex sighed pulling coopers phone out of her pocket and putting it beside her. "What are you so sad about this, Cooper guy, he was a dick to you, didn't you see him flirting with the other girls?" Jack asked. "He was what?" Jack shrugged. "He was" he said glancing at her and then back onto the road. "Uggh this night is a mess" she groaned slouching down into her seat. "If he wants you back, don't take him back" Jack insisted. She gave him a confused look. "Why do you care about that?" She asked. "I'm just helping you out, he basically was trying to cheat on you then he broke up with you, it's clear he doesn't want you anymore and he is gonna use you" he said taking one hand off the steering wheel. "Wow make me feel so much worse about myself, And I should trust you, why?" He sighed. "Cause it's happened to me before, and you don't want it to happen to you, cause it hurts," she looked down at her feet. "really hurts" he said. That's when he pulled up to Alex's house, her car wasn't there, so she knew she would be walking to work. Alex opened the car door and slammed it shut. Not even saying bye. "What no bye?!" He shouted as he rolled the window down. Alex ignored him and opened her house door, closing it quickly behind her. She put her back against it taking a deep breath. She then put her hands in her pockets for coopers phone. But it wasn't there. "Shit" she said rushing back to the door, hoping he didn't drive off. She opened the door and went out quickly. When she bumped into someone falling onto them. "Fuck" jack exclaimed putting his hand to his head. "Oh my god I'm so sorry" Alex said getting off him. "I hit my head" jack said, sounding like he was in pain. He took his hand off looking at it, when he saw blood. "Shit" he said. "Come on, let's go inside" Alex said helping him up. She kicked the door closed and brought him into the kitchen. "Here, sit" she insisted. She ran upstairs grabbing a first aid kit and ran back down to jack. "Let me see" she said moving his hand. "Ok it doesn't need stitches, thank god, but it's just a cut" she told him.

It took about 5 minutes to stop the bleeding. "Does your heard hurt?" She asked in a concerned tone. "Well no shit" he snapped back. She ignored his comment and went into the kitchen grabbing a water bottle. "Here, drink that" she said setting the bottle on the table next to him. He opened it up and chugged a bit of it. "You think you can drive?" She asked. "I'll be fine Alex" he replied. "Just asking a question, don't gotta be a dick about it" she mumbled. Jack sighed. "Here's the phone" he said holding it out to her. "You forgot it" he said with it still in his hand. She took it and sent it on the table. They sat in silence. Jack looked at her the whole time. She looked down at the table thinking about other things. "It's late, I need to go" he said standing up. She nodded. He walked to the door and she followed, so she could lock it when he leaves. He pulled the door opened and looked at her. "Don't think about that guy so much, you'll cry 24/7, plus you don't need to, you have other things to worry about" he said standing by the door. "Well nothing can change my mind" she said crossing her arms. He sighed quickly walking up to her, kissing her lips and he pushed her up against the wall. She pushed him off. "The fuck?" She asked. "Just changing your mind" he smirked then quickly walked out. "Your such a dick jack!" She shouted at him. He ignore and got into his car. She groaned and slammed the door, locking it and running to her bedroom.

She looked at the time on her phone. 1:18 in the morning. She had been crying for an hour about cooper. And jacks kiss entered her mind. She hated it because she hated him, but she kinda enjoyed it. The way he pushed her up against the wall make her stomach fill with butterflies. But she knew she doesn't want anything to do with him.
