The sun slowly was setting over the outline of inkopolis as its bright orange hue was fading to a rich blue shade. The evil telephone Tar-Tar was defeated and sinking deep into the ocean waters as Agent 8, Pearl, Marina, Capin' Cuttlefish, and Agent 3 sat watching the sun set after the tough battle. The real threat that Tar-Tar once had was slowly sinking into Agent 8 as she watched the sun set. Sure, he was defeated and inkopolis was saved but what if she didn't blow up all the bombs in time? What if she fell? What if Tar-Tar wasn't really defeated?

"Don't worry eight. Everything is over now. Trust me, all our big worries are over." Agent 3 said with a small smile on her face, her head still ached from when she was controlled by the sanitized ink but all's well that end's well. Agent 8 turned to 3 unsure. "Come on Eight. Let me tell you DJ Octavio is all back in his snow globe thanks to Four. Agent 1 and 2 will be around and so will Marina and Pearl. You're not alone anymore. Just try to relax, we have your back." Agent 3 had her usual dull tone but she seemed genuine for what she said. Agent 8 sighed, "I suppose you're right." she stated.

"Now what's up with you not thinkin' we got your back? You got the best agent's out here Eight! Besides no one can handle me with my voice! I'm the voice to end all voices 'yo!" A short inkling chimed in and with that kind of loud attitude it was known to be Pearl. She held her hands on her hips as she stood between Agent 8 and 3. "M.C. Princess, AKA The Baroness of Bars, The DJ Catch-And-Release, The one and only Pearl gotcha' back! Plus we got the best DJ out here to help ya' too!" Pearl protested with a grin. Marina shook her head. "She already knows your many titles Pearl. Is that really necessary?" Marina piped in with her shy demeanor, but in reality she was pretty straight forward and could hold her own in an argument.

Agent 8 looked off into the sunset as Marina and Pearl went back and forth of weather the names were necessary or not to prove a point. Maybe everything really was dying down. After all, Agent 8 would be able to be in inkopolis for the first time rather than Octo Valley. Memories were still hazy but maybe having a fresh start wasn't so bad.

The helicopter the group was in soon took way back to inkopolis through the now darkened sky. Stars littered the sky as the moon started to come into view, it as big and round as ever. Eight couldn't help but be amazed by the colorful and bright sky. Though in the depths of her mind Eight knew something was coming, she just didn't know what.

"Eight you can stay with me until we find you somewhere to live if you want." Agent 3 had a small smile as she hopped off the plane. They arrived at Octo Valley strangely enough. Eight soon followed Three to the small building two figures stood at. Captain Cuttlefish had said his farewells to Pearl and Marina as they took off again in the hellicopter, here Captain soon walked towards the two figures. The white haired figure turned to face the group with a smile. "Did you have a busy time? I made dinner." She seemed longing for the old man which she hugged. The other figure standing there was a black haired inkling who happily made her way over to the two.

"Oh before we continue! I'd like to introduce to you Agent 8! She had listened to the Calamari Inkantation and no fan of the Inkantaion is a foe of mine!" Gramps had a big smile as he presented Eight with Three at her side. "So children give her a warm welcome to Inkopolis!" The Captian stated. The black haired one happily hugged Eight while the white haired one seemed hesitant. "Another Agent! That's so amazing! What kind of work did you do?" She was very excited to welcome the octoling. "Hold your tenticles Callie. Let's introduce ourselves." The white haired one explained. "Oh right!" The back haired one nodded.

With that the two in very different clothes did a strange pose together. "We are known as the Squid Sisters!" The two stated as they posed. An awkward silence passed before the white haired one ended the silence. "I guess we aren't as well known as we thought. Anyway, I'm Marie-" Marie was soon cut off by her excited Squid Sister. "And I'm Callie! I'm so glad to have met another Octoling!" Callie said happily. Marie shook her head. "How are you so chipper all the time? Honestly makes me wanna get brainwashed." Marie grinned.

Eight was a little overwhelmed at this all and stepped back quietly. She soon got into her uniformed introduction stance. "Hello, I am Agent 8 and I have come seeking a new life here in Inkopolis." She soon bowed as formally as she could. Three soon bopped her on the head in a joking manner. "Eight, relax." She chuckled. "Thanks you two, but we won't keep you any longer. I'm gonna go show Eight around." Three explained. "Right, we wont keep you waiting. I'm gonna go catch up with the kiddies!" Captain Cuttlefish soon got ready to go with his family.

The three said their goodbyes and soon left leaving Agent 3 and 8 alone in Octo Canyon. "C'mon Eight, we got to get back before the last train leaves the station." Three explained. Soon grabbing a hold of Eight's hand and quickly rushing off with her off into the sewers.

Little did Inkopolis know, but an evil was slowly finding it's way back from the depths beneath the sea. It was hungering for something new. Even if it had to claw it's way back to Inkopolis the hard way.
