yoongi woke up quite early that day, six a.m. in fact. he yawned and stretched out his limbs. still feelings pretty elated from the love letter that was from the other day.
"you up early too, min?" jimin asked then yawned.
yoongi turned to face jimin, "hey, can i ask you a question?" he asked.
"sure." jimin answered.
"have you ever gotten a.. love confession?" yoongi asked nervously.
jimin looked confused, "well, i just got one yesterday." he answered.
"what? from who?" yoongi asked.
"oh, why do you want to know?" jimin teased as he put his face on his hand and stared at yoongi.
yoongi's face went red, "i just never thought that someone like you could get a love confession, okay?" he lied.
"alright sure," jimin teased again, "but it was some slytherin girl." he replied to the earlier question.
"did you say yes?" yoongi asked.
"nah, i barely knew her. she probably only asked me out because her family told her to." jimin answered.
"what do you mean because her family told her to?" yoongi asked again.
"her family are a bunch of death eaters like mine, i'm sure the endgame for her family was for her to marry me since my family are pretty powerful." jimin answered.
"that's.. complicated." yoongi muttered out.
"but i'm sure that she was relieved i said no anyway." jimin spoke.
"i thought she wanted to marry you?" you asked, confused.
"that's what her family wants. i'm sure she never had feelings for me. and besides, i saw her walking hand in hand with some hufflepuff boy the other day." jimin added.
"but don't slytherins hate hufflepuffs?" yoongi mumbled to himself.
"well not all of us but definitely a bunch of us, especially conservative death eater families. i can't even imagine how her parents will react." jimin muttered as he laughed bitterly.
