[One Month Later]

True to his word, I recieved a letter from Jordan and his lawyer claiming custody for Troy. Receiving this letter literally shattered my heart into a million pieces. I mean I get that he wants me to suffer for what I did but to take Troy away from me. That is something that he could never come back from.

Also true to his word, Kyle has surprisingly stuck around through all my drama.

I watched Troy from my dining table as he played with his toys. I have done everything in my power to keep him safe and make him happy. And a thought that his dad could come and swipe him from me crushed my heart.

"Babe, I promise you. That this lawyer is going help you keep Troy. And that loser of an ex of yours wouldn't even be able to see a hair of Troy." Kyle's voice echoed behind my thoughts.

Is that what I really wanted? Was I willing to not have let Troy have a relationship with his father? What if when Troy got older he resented me from keeping him away from his dad? That's the last thing I wanted. I didnt want my son growing up hating me.

"Libby?" Kyle's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah I heard you babe. I just dont know what I want!" I replied.

"What do you mean?" He asked as he placed his hand on my knee and crouched down in front of me.

"I mean I dont know if I want to be that mother that keeps her kid away from their father. I know Jordan has his flaws but so do I. If there is anything I know about Jordan is that he would be a good father." I answered as tears began to fill my eyes.

"That's why I love you. No matter how much someone trys to harm you, you always take the higher road." He said as he gave me a kiss on the cheeks.

I smile as I hug Kyle. I appreciated everything he was doing for me. He was definitely a different person than Kyle.

"You mean a lot to me. I'm so thankful for you." I said as I held him in my arms.

A couple of days later as I was just about to start my day, I notice my tire was slashed. I sighed as I lean against the door. I couldn't afford to miss another day of work. When Jordan pulled up beside me.

"Ohhh...looks like you have a flat." He winked.

"Jordan, can you just please leave me alone. Why are you doing this to me?" I cried out.

"Oh stop feeling sorry for yourself and get in." He responded.

He definitely caught me off guard. Those are the last words I ever expected him to tell me.

"What?" I whispered.

He got out of the driver side and grabbed my arm and push me inside his car.

"Jordan, what are you doing?" I questioned with my heart racing.

I was afraid. I had no idea what he was going to do to me or what he wanted from me. He was already making my life a living hell. So what could he do next.

"Jordan, where are you taking me." I said looking at him with tears falling down my face.

He pulled into an empty parking lot and put the car in park.

"Jordan!!!" I screamed.

He turn off the car and turn to me with hurt in his eyes.

"Are you really that afraid of me?" He asked as he placed his hand on mines.

How was I suppose to answer that?
