Chapter Eight

I ran til I couldn't run anymore, I drop to the ground out of breathe and frighten at what just happened. Tears streamed down my face as I called Kyle. I needed him to come save me. I just wanted to be safe. I wanted to feel safe again and he made me feel safe.

"Hey...babe!" He answered the phone.

"Ky...Ky....Kyle..." I sobbed into the phone.

"Kimmie? What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked.

"I need...you...please!" I continued you to sob.

"Where are you?" He questioned.

"I don't know...I don't." I replied.

"Okay drop me your pin and I will be there and a split second. I promise." He said.

I drop him my location and by the time I knew he was there by my side. He picked me off the ground and into his car.

"Kim..." He stop himself from saying anything as he just held me.

"I never been so afraid in my life Kyle. I thought he was going to kill me. I thought I was never going to see Troy or you again." I began crying again.

"Did Jordan hurt you? Cause I swear to god, I will kill him with my own two hands." Kyle states his face going red.

"No! He...he told me to run and to never look back." I whispered.

He did hurt me. Just not in the way that Kyle means. My heart broke into a million pieces when Jordan told me to run and don't look back. Cause in my heart I know the underlying message he was sending me. He was telling me that us is over and over for good. And that hurts me to my core.

I love Kyle but I could never love him the way I love Jordan. Jordan will always have my heart til the day I die.

"Can you just take me Troy?" I asked.

"Of course." He responded and began driving back to town.

We finally arrived home and I just couldn't help but stare at the little boy that Jordan and I created. He was simply perfect, a creation of our love. A love that went horribly wrong but yet he is the best thing to come out of that love.

"What mommy?" He asked with a smile that mimic that of his fathers.

"Nothing. I just want you to know that I love you so much." I walked over to him and gave him a kiss on his forehead.

"I know mommy and I love you too, silly head." He giggled.

Kyle had left us to go to work, so it was just me and Troy alone.

"Hey mommy?" Troy said curiously.

"Yes baby?" I replied.

"Ummm...when can I see my daddy again?" He asked.

"What..." I responded my heart racing.

"My daddy the one from the park. He told me when I wanted to see him, that I could." He answered.

"Oh I don't know baby. I have to find out." I said in a low tone.

I didn't want Troy around Jordan. Especially not after the events of earlier. But now Troy is curious about him and will no doubt keep asking about him.

"Okay well...just call him. Promise?" He smiled.

"Yeah baby. Promise." I said holding back tears.

This will be the first promise I break. Cause I just can't allow it.
