*Tessa's POV*

It has been another week and my naighbour and I are going along pretty well.

H started to talk with me a little more then the usual, which is already something.

It's finally friday and I'm sitting at the coffee shop enjoying my morning coffee.

Mac: here you go.

He says while handing me the napkin that he forgot to give me.

Tessa:thank you so much.

I reply with a smile.

I take another sio from my cup before moving my eyes up and look at him.

Tessa: by the way, did you find any clue of where she can be?

He moves his head down and shakes it.

I shouldn't have asked it.

Now he must be sad.

I place my hand on his and with a warm smile I say:its fine, you are not here to give up, remember?

He gives me a slight smile back and nods.

Mac: by the way I just realized I dont know your na-

He got interrupted by a person showing up behind me and placing his hands on my eyes.

I bring my hand on the hands placed on my eyes and immediately I recognize him.

Tessa: Stave!

I almost yell and he removes his hands from my face.

I turn toward him and the tall guy with brown hair and blue eyes appears in front of me.

Stave: surprise!!!

I fast jump into his arms and give him one of the tightest hug.

Tessa: you are back!

I say with a big smile while breaking the hug.

Stave: I am!

Tessa:when did you come back? And why didnt you tell me?

Stave: I came home last night and I wanted to surprise you.

Tessa:that's great!.come take a seat.

I say while pointing at the chair next to me.

Tessa: How was the work trip?

Stave: oh my god it was just amazing. Had a lot to work but it was worth it!

Tessa: that's great.

Stave: I got you something by the way.

He says while sliding his hand in the pocket and taking out a package I guess.

He opens it and takes out really pretty bracelet.

I look at him and say: no.

Stave: what no?dont you like it?

Tessa: no, its hella pretty. But I cant take this I'm sorry. You shouldn't have spent money on m-

Stave: shut up. Right now. I wanted it. I got it. And I got it for you. End of the story. If you dont take it it means that you never considered me a friend.

I open my mouth to say something, but nothing came out from it.

I just sigh in defeat as a smile pops on his lips and he takes my hand.

He carefully puts the bracelet on and says: perfect. Just as I thought. This was made for you.

Tessa:thanks for this. I'll do somethin-

Stave: shut up again. You dont have to do anything for me. I'm fine. And if you talk again I'll get mad.

Damn.

Bro is stubborn.

I just roll my eyes and realize that my neighbor was standing there looking at us for the whole time.

I got so distracted by Stave that I didnt even introduce him.

I'll do it now.

I smile at stave and say: meet him, my neigh-, my friend!

I say while smiling wide at the guy of the coffee shop.

Stave: since when you started making friends?

He jokes around.

I lightly hit on his shoulder and say: shut up.

Stave stretches his arm out toward him and says: really nice to meet you, I'm Stave. I'm so glad she finally decided to make a friend.

He stretches his arm out as well and shakes it.

Mac: I'm glad that I am his friend.

He says with a smile.

I feel like Stave and him will be great friends hopefully.

Stave: aren't you getting late??

I fast look at the watch and I was so late.

Tessa: shot! I'm so late. I need to go.

I fast take my bag ,but stave stops me.

Stave:I'll drop you.

Tessa:no, I can do it, dont worry.

He raises his eyebrow, in sign that he wont give up, so I again just roll my eyes and say:fine. Let's go.

Stave: great. Follow me.

Crazy guy.

I turn around and say by to him for the last time before following Stave toward his car and leaving.
