Tipping back my chair in English class, I thought about Tyler. It's been four days and he hasn't called me nor texted me and I started to worry about him.

"...Reynolds?"Mrs. Carpenter questioned, waiting for someone to raise his hand and announce that he is present.

The class snickered at this.

"Ma'am, he's in abroad,"I piped up,"Didn't Principal Miller tell you that he has graduated early to move to Oxford?"Nice job, Crystal, those words just stabbed your heart.

Mrs. Carpenter blinked then nodded,"Of course, yes, I remember now. And plus points for you Ms. Addison for knowing the usage of did and didn't unlike Mr. Holmes here."

I was sitting at the front row, looking out of the window. The snow was less than usual and today, I could wear some comfortable and less heavy clothes because of this.

"Since our role call is over, let's proceed to our lesson,"Mrs. Carpenter said as she adjusted her glasses,"Now, antonyms and synonyms...Open your books on page 356, Chapter 13, Antonyms and Synonyms for Advanced Grade 12."

"Wow, we're halfway through the book, 544 pages to go!"She said excitedly,"Now..."

I was not in the mood to listen to her mindless and boring lectures right now. All I did was reminisce my memories with Tyler until I ran out of thoughts to look back to.

"It's my future, Crystal. I have to go, you know that."

Those words ached and were attached to the back of my mind. Tyler's unsure voice killed me mentally.

Sighing, I took my black pen and drew random scribbles on an empty page in my notebook. Doodles covered the entire page and the more I thought about Tyler, the darker and thicker the drawings were because of too much force placed.

"I wasn't ready for that,"I mouthed silently, resting my tired face on my palm,"Why?"

English was our last subject. I can't wait to get home to sob my tears under the piles of homework, drowning myself in them.

Earlier today, Daniel told me,"It won't be the same, I know but just remember that I'm here. Tyler is just a call away and I'll just be here, waiting...forever."

"It's getting pretty late,"Mrs. Carpenter frowned as she stared at the clock ticking on the wall,"I must dismiss the class early and we'll continue our discussion tomorrow—oh, and there goes the bell!"

The class began cheering and threw their essays about antonyms and synonyms in the air, causing a paper tornado like in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when owls came swooping in the Dursleys' house and made an envelope mess.

"Don't forget to read over your textbook and answer your comprehension check—"Mrs. Carpenter stopped when all of the students left her room,"And there they go..."

"Fuck,"I cursed under my breath as I banged my head against my desk. It has been half an hour and I still can't get this problem solved.

Yesterday, my friends and I had our monthly study party. Winter's eyes were about to bulge out of their sockets along with the hair she almost pulled off when all of us didn't get a damn about her 2 hour discussion.

I clicked the end of my pen as I browsed the book for hints. Who on fucking earth asks: First, I went to Japan then bought shoes followed by buying an umbrella. What was the first thing I bought
