Chapter 2 That laugh though!

Alya's old run down red pick-up truck finally parked in the student parking lot.  Here they were, at Agreste High school, their third year here. Tikki and Alya got out from the front while Marinette got out from the back seat.

"Marinette, you own a damn blue Audi. I don't understand why we can't drive that beautiful ride to school, or at least Tikki's new Camry car." Alya mumbled, swinging his dark blue bag over his right shoulder, as she was decked out in blue shorts and a white  shirt with the word 'Badass' written in the middle.

"Because this one pick up truck here has so many memories". Marinette smiled.

" I agree with Alya here Marinette . Sorry." Tikki said and Marinette frowned at the two.

"So, what time do you want me to meet you guys out here?" Marinette asked, looking at the two who shrugged.

"Coach never really told us what time practice is going to end.  So we'll call you?" Alya said and Marinette nodded her head.  Alya and Tikki were best friends since kindergarten.  They had the same interest which is Basketball. They were on the basketball team, varsity ever since freshman year and they were now Co-captains on the team.  They were pretty popular around school unlike Marinette. Though, even with there popularity, they always choose her over anyone else when people tried to hang out and make plans with them, which Marinette thought of as sweet.

"Well my two sweetest of friends, off to school?" Tikki said, offering an arm. Marinette smiled and linked her left arm with Tikki while Alya linked her other arm with hers.  Oh, first day traditions.  They then walked up to school, getting ready for their first day again.

Meanwhile Adrien and Nino got out of the car on the parking lot.  Adrien opened the back door and took out a bouquet of pink tulips. Nino saw him holding the flowers and decided to tease him a bit.

"Awww, aren't you just the sweetest boyfriend? " Nino mimicked Chloe's voice.  Adrien just rolled his eyes and nudged Nino playfully with a smile graced upon his lip and cheeks a bit pink.

Adrien and Nino arrived in the main hallway of the school and the front entrance.  Everyone waved 'hi' to Adrien  and acknowledged him as well. Adrien being his friendly self, replied hi back.  Adrien literally was Mr. Popular of the school.  Everyone knew him and everyone wanted to become friends with him, for his optimistic nature, for his friendly attitude and his bubbly personality.  It wasn't just about Adrien's father being the owner of Agreste Records, but just having Adrien being so nice to everyone.

People saw his life as the perfect life.  He had the perfect family who loved and cared for him.  He was wealthy and could get anything he wanted.  He had good grades and was now captain of the football team.  And he had the 'perfect girlfriend'  the captain of the cheerleading squad. ..... Chloe.

Yep that's right. Who knew that Adrien and Chloe would actually be in a relationship? Adrien knew that people thought he had the perfect life, getting everything he wanted and it was true.  Adrien could get a lot of things that he wanted.  Nino walked with Adrien to his locker.  And guess who was waiting right there scrolling on her phone with her minion? !

Sabrina saw Adrien and Nino coming when she  literally squealed .

"Daww, isn't your boyfriend so sweet?" Chloe looked up and so Adrien holding a bouquet of pink tulips in front of her.  Nino chuckled at what Sabrina said and Adrien glared at him.

"Hey there babe." Adrien said, pulling Chloe in for a kiss on the cheek, which Chloe tilted her head and instead planted a sloppy kiss on his lips. (Gaah😝) Adrien responded for a second before pulling away.

"Morning." She smiled.  Nino and Sabrina stood on the other side chatting with Plagg. Plagg is also Adrien's best friend.  He has tan skin like Adrien, black hair and emerald green eyes just like Adrien.  People waved to them because Sabrina was on the Chloe best friend and she's Chloe's right hand partner on the cheerleading squad.  Nino plays football with Adrien while Plagg plays Baseball.

"So I have football practice today after school and I know you have cheerleading to-" Adrien got cut off.

"Na cheerleading practice doesn't start until early next month.  We first need to recruit girls and all.  We aren't like basket and football where we already did our recruitment in the summer."Chloe said looking at her pink acrylic long nails. Adrien nodded before continuing.

"So I was wondering if you want to go and hang out later after my practice? Maybe go out to the movies?" Adrien asked.

" I would love to Adrikins." Chloe smiled and Adrien gave her a cheeky smile before kissing her on the cheek. (BLEH😝)

"I'll see you later then!" Chloe said before turning on her heels and walking away with Sabrina. Right when she did so, three people walked through the main doors, arms linked and everyone just watched them.  The boys were whistling about the two basketball players on Marinette's sides.

" Oh look it's the captains of the basketball team!" Boy one said.

"I know right! Ugh, they get hotter every year." Boy two said .

"Oh lookie here Adrien. It's basketball and girl coming down from six o'clock." Nino said and Adrien watched Marinette and Tikki laugh at a joke Alya told.

'That laugh though!' Adrien thought.
