Chapter 5- Her laugh is music to his ears

Adrien sat down at the back of the class in Math. He really wasn't interested right now. After all, first days were only syllabuses right? Maybe except for Mrs. Mendeliev, who really just pumped into experiments, notes and crazy staff.

Adrien was zoning out, staring down at his Syllabus and making it seem like he is paying attention. He was thinking about his life, thinking about how he was already a junior. Damn, was growing old. He thought about his Family, even with his Father owning the most famous and popular recording company, he still made time.

They were still a tight nit close family. Adrien then thought about what he had. Shit, he had a pretty new good car. He's now the Captain of the football team because the previous one graduated and nobody got the opportunity not even the Seniors but him Agreste. Isn't it obvious? And about his grades. To be honest, if he tried a bit harder he would probably be getting almost straight A's. He is Mr. Popular,everyone wanting to talk to him, everyone wanting to get to know him,and everyone wanting to hang out with him! He could probably make friends with anyone due to his Personality. Everyone loves Adrien Agreste. He is the perfect role model, captain of the football team, good grades, close family. But, a thought entered his mind.

'If everyone wanted to be my friend, then why can't I get her?' Adrien frowned at the thought. They were separated. They were ever since forever. He knew the tension between the football and basketball players, which was why there was no one that played both football and basketball. Adrien wouldn't be surprised if World War III started up in this place due to the feud between the two sports teams. Adrien was snapped out of his thoughts by a snap of fingers in front of him.

"Adrien! Are you even listening to me? " Nino yelled and Adrien was back into reality. He looked to see that the teacher wasn't talking anymore. Everyone was doing their own thing. What is going on?

"I'm sorry ... I just zoned out. "Adrien frowned. Nino looked at him with confusion b4 a small smirk graced upon his lips. He wiggled his brows at Adrien, causing him to smile. Oh, did Nino not know how funny he looked when he does that?

"Were you thinking about your date tonight? " Nino teased, with a teasing smirk on her face. Adrien laughed awkwardly. He wanted to tell him no, he wasn't. He wasn't thinking about the date with Chloe nor Chloe at all. He wanted to tell him, he was thinking about a certain bluebell eyed raven haired beauty. But instead, Adrien just gave Nino an awkward laugh.

Nino genuinely laughed at him before giving him a wink.

"Now don't go too far tonight! Especially if you're in a movie theater Adrien. Don't think just cause the lights are off, no one can see what you are doing in the back!" This caused Adrien to faintly blush at Nino. Nino thought Adrien was that. ... Scandalous? Him and Chloe have only been dating for a year now. They didn't go any farther with their relationship. They only just kissed, cuddled and made out. He isn't That scandalous. Yea sure, he is the captain of the football team, but it was a stereotype that all Footballers would jump into that kind of thing. At least he doesn't want to take that step yet in their relationship. But Chloe, she is another case.

"I never go that far." Adrien replied shortly and Nino just rolled his eyes and finally the bell rang.

(Time skips to the end of the school. Am too lazy. But seriously though, who wants to know what happens at hell? Uhm I meant school but whatever it's the same thing )

The bell rang signalling it was after school. Students flooded in the hallways and outside,wanting to go hang out, home or Partying. Others had sports practice or stayed inside to do homework or get help.

By the end of the day, Adrien was able to know Marinette's whole schedule and who she had them with. She had seven periods in order of science, English, Art, History, Lunch, Ceramics and Math. She had Science, History and Lunch with both Alya and Tikki. Then English and Art with Tikki and Ceramics with Alya. She then took AP Calculus by herself, Alya and Tikki probably not wanting to do that one class with her.

To his luck, he had English, History, Lunch and Ceramics with her. Call him a creep, but Adrien was addicted to Marinette. Ever since that Forbidden night. What night you ask? That's another story for another time. Adrien was sitting down on a bench right outside the school building. He watched as Students walked past him, waving bye to him. Adrien being friendly, was waving back. He was waiting for Nino to come out, him being Nino's only ride home. He sat there and noticed that after fifteen minutes Nino was still nowhere in sight to be seen. The outside of the school was already empty. He grew slowly impatient. He decided to keep his mind occupied.

Adrien's eyes then spotted on something rather someone. He looked more closely to see Marinette under a small shady tree, her back leaned against the trunk and she was working on homework. Adrien watched her, mesmerised when she bit the top of her Pencil and stared intently. 'She looks just the cutest!' Adrien thought.

Suddenly his view was blocked by blue. He looked up to see Nino, his arm crossed on his chest and one eyebrow raised. He had a smirk plastered on his face.

"Let's get going. I need to go home to start on my homework and you need to get ready for a movie night date." Nino stated and Adrien just let out a huff. He completely forgot about the date with Chloe. He just wanted to go home do his homework, take a bubbly warm bath, enjoy a nice meal and spend some quality time with her TV.

"So are we going or not? " Nino asked him, snapping him the second day today out of his thoughts. He nodded his head and started walking towards the parking lot of the school. Though, he was able to steal a last look at Marinette before he left and noticed that Marinette glanced right back at him. Adrien looked directly into her blue eyes and she did just the same.

And that's what made his day. .....
Beside Tikki attempting to bounce like a bouncer that made Marinette laugh in English class. He got to hear his favourite music. Her laugh is music to his ears.
