Chapter 6- Simple yet alluring

Marinette sat in the front seat of the red pick-up truck. Alya sat in the driver's seat while Tikki sat in the back, all of them showered and clean.  All three of them had gone to Marinette's house to get ready. Alya wore a simple black tank top and denim jeans, Tikki wore a red top with a pair of black shorts. Marinette on the other hand wore a simple yellow crop top, plain white Jean shorts and a blue denim jacket.

The were on the road heading to the movies in town. Marinette was looking out the window while the ride was going on. Tikki was humming to pop songs that were going on the radio.

Suddenly, three beats went on and the song started with 'everybody get up' followed by more beats. Marinette's face paled when she heard the beginning of the song. Alya's eyes brightened a bit while Tikki rolled down the window. Marinette placed her hood up from her jacket, her cheeks tinting pink from embarrassment and of what was to come.

"If you can't hear, what I'm trying to say!" Alya sang and Tikki continued.

"If you can't read from the same page!"

Marinette sunk in her seat, hoping that no one would recognise her. The song went on and she braced herself for the chorus.

"Take a good girl" Alya yelled loudly, while driving. Tikki leaned forward to the front seat and yelled in Marinette's ear in her high pitched voice.

"I know you want it" Marinette didn't even want to see what kind of motions Tikki was making.

"I know you want it" Alya went on.

"I know you want it" Tikki shimmied, puffing her chest out and shaking her body. This earned a joking whistle from Alya.

"Ho Tikki, you one sexy bitch!" She yelled. Marinette looked out the window to see some pedestrians on the sidewalk look at their car with a 'Are they drunk? ' look on their faces.

She let out a sigh and placed her face into her hands. This was going to be a long ride to the movie theater.

Adrien walked over to Chloe's door and opened it, offering his hand. Chloe took it and stepped out of the car, straightening her dress. Adrien wore a white dress shirt and a pair of blue jeans while Chloe was spotting a simple knee length dress.

He gave Chloe a soft smile before leading her to the entrance. Once they arrived at the ticket line, Chloe picked out the movie she wanted. Adrien paid for it like the gentleman he was and then led Chloe by the small of her back into the movie theaters.

"We're here!" Alya sang and Marinette finally lifted her head from her hands.  They were here. They had finally arrived. They all got out of the car and started walking to the movie theater. Once they made it to the Ticket line, Alya grabbed Marinette's wrist and hid her behind her back.

Marinette looked at her quizzically and Alya motioned his head over to the front, where a familiar couple stood. She peeked slightly to see Adrien and Chloe buying tickets. Tikki just rolled her eyes before pulling Marinette out of Alya's grasp and into view of everyone.

"Alya, you're so overprotective, we're at a public place. We're all going to be mature about this and enjoy our time here. Forget about that little bitch and enjoy the movie. We aren't going to pick a fight either. Got it?" Alya sighed and nodded her head. Tikki was right. They were here to spend quality friend time. They were here to have fun, not to get in a fight with the Queen bee.

"Okay gotcha. Let's just get those tickets and get in. "Alya mumbled, earning a huge smile from the others.

"You know Chloe, I would've thought you would pick that new chick flick that came out. I wouldn't have thought you would actually pick an action movie as a movie choice for a date. " Adrien chuckled and Chloe shrugged her shoulders. They were sitting all the way in the left back corner.  He held the large popcorn on his lap while Chloe leaned on his shoulder.

Adrien smiled and wrapped his arm around her torso. As soon as the lights  were dimming though, Chloe coincidentally looked at the entrance only two see the three losers as she likes to call them, make their way inside.

Her blood boiled a bit to see Marinette, Alya and Tikki. The three of them looked around the movie theaters before Marinette pointed at the only three open seats that were three rows down Chloe's. Fortunately, these three didn't notice the couple as they made their destination there. Marinette sat in middle while the others sat on each side of her.

They carried in an extra large popcorn, which was placed in Marinette's lap obviously. They also had two large Icees.

Chloe felt Adrien sigh when the lights dimmed, and she realised where she was and was with her. She wasn't going to let his hatred towards those three lowlifes ruin her date with Adrien. So, she relaxed and attempted to focus on the movie. Unfortunately, she was now stiff and couldn't relax. Hopefully, Adrien didn't notice.

Adrien noticed. He noticed that Chloe stiffened right before the lights started to dim off. He noticed her eyes fill with with rage. He wondered what made her so ticked off all of a sudden. Adrien followed Chloe's eyes to where she was glaring, only to spot Marinette, Alya and Tikki making their way up there. Adrien's heart quickened. No way!

She watched Alya move in first, followed by Marinette and then lastly Tikki. They sat three rows ahead of them and Adrien gulped. Shit, how was he going to focus on the movie now? He knew from the twelve years he's been classmates with Alya and Tikki, that they were the most rowdy people when it comes to anything.

Adrien never understood how Marinette and her friends were so close. Marinette is probably the most sophisticated, quiet and shy person Adrien ever knew.

The movie started playing and Adrien started to divulge in it. Maybe he was able to watch the movie and enjoy his date with Chloe without thinking about her.

But then, when the reindeer maneuvered through every single missile,Alya abruptly stood up and pumped her fist in the air, shouting 'yes bitches'. Tikki sat there with an irritated face as to how the reindeer didn't die while Marinette was attempting to calm Alya down.

Then, the reindeer was shot in the leg and Tikki screamed triumphantly. Marinette tried to calm both of them down when they started to loudly bicker at each other. Adrien's eyes finally moved to them.

He was met with Marinette's curvy figure. Damn, her outfit was so simple yet it looked so alluring on her. He watched when She placed her hand on Alya's shoulder and told her to be quiet and sit down.

Alya obliged and Tikki screamed "giving up already Aly gal?' Adrien watched Marinette give Tikki a glare and she immediately sat down.  He looked at Marinette and squinted his eyes through the dark to get a better look at her.

She had her hair in a ponytail, her bangs were slicked back, all in all, making her look more ravishing. Then, Adrien saw Alya put her arm on Marinette's headrest. He couldn't help but feel..... queasy? Was the feeling sadness? There was also a sprinkle of anger in it too and Adrien didn't like it one bit.

He then watched Tikki place her arm on Alya's. He was now confused. He watched Alya hit Tikki's arm and her returning it back.  They kept going back and forth while Marinette was too involved into the movie to even notice the little hand fight behind her head.

He then wondered what Chloe's expression was when the little scene happened three rows below them. He saw her face rage with anger and he knew that this wasn't going to be good. Not at all.
