"Zoya! Bas bahut hogaya ruk jao wohi pe varna..."
'Varna kya Aditya grumpy Hooda?'
She ran farther away, her red pashmina scarf fluttering as the chill winds blew across the snowcapped mountains. Aditya's feet grew heavy whereas Zoya ran faster her brown waves cascading along her back occasionally giving a glimpse of her chandelier earrings. Somehow he got caught of her shawl only to find himself alone in the snow clad valley, he screamed her name in anguish as cottons of snow started to descend making his vision blurry. As quietly as the snow he felt a little hand slipping through his large fingers he looked down to see a little girl with brown eyes and chubby cheeks smiling back at him. The little girl was covered from head to shoulders with the same red shawl. His vision started blurring as he saw his Zoya standing at a distance he ran frantically towards her only to see her holding his mother's hands tightly.
"Ma...Zoya...."
There was a sudden thud shaking him off his slumber as the charter finally landed. His heart was still racing as he rushed out while checking his phone only to see Arjun standing at the helipad waiting for him.
"How is she," desperation was dripping from his voice.
'She has been admitted Bhai, everyone is with her let's move on from here.'
As the car started he remembered their last conversation,
"absolutely NO, I am not going anywhere and that's final."
Zoya sighed for she knew it was impossible to argue with her husband when he turns adamant, especially in matters on which she has little or no knowledge at all. How to run a business was one of them, but she placed her best foot forward for she could not lose this battle.
'Aditya, aap ko yaad hai aap ne ek baar humein kya bola tha.'
She sat next to him on the bed with her hand on his shoulder.
'You said that being the chief executive officer of a company is the most tedious job in this whole wide world. But it becomes thrilling the moment you imagine yourself as the captain of a ship and the entire responsibility of the ship lies on your shoulders. The ship desperately needs its captain.'
"Isn't there already too many complications in our life that I also have to leave you when the delivery date is soon approaching. Have you seen yourself in the mirror Zoya? You have lost so much weight, look at these dark circles around your eyes."
His voice grew softer filled with concern as he tucked some hair strands behind her ears.
"But we survived till here didn't we, all because of your undivided attention, making sure I ate properly took medicines on time attended my yoga classes on time. I have the best husband any woman would ask for and it's now time for the best husband to break his sabbatical and spit fire like my dragon always does."
She planted a wet kiss on his forehead knowing well that he loved being pampered by calling him her pet dragon. When he encircled his hands around her waist resting his head on her chest Zoya knew how exhausting all this was for her Aditya.
'They need you baby, you attending this business summit means more investors for the company you know all this better than me and besides the delivery date is a week after you come back also don't forget you are married to an aspiring surgeon herself who happens to belong to a family of one of the oldest practitioners of medicine. Abbu is the best at his work Aditya and I'm not saying this because he is my father."
'I know that Zoya and little one did you hear how blue blooded your mother is she might have a button nose but it's pointed very high.'
Zoya punched him playfully in the arm as he continued to pull her leg,
