The men stood around the computer, anxiously watching the screen. They sent a small robot down to search through the ruins of the once great Titanic ship, hoping to find the thing we've been looking for for the past 4 months.
Specks of mold flew past the view of the camera, making it hard to see, but someone on the team must have seen it.
"We found it!" Someone shouted. At once, the robot's camera focused, and the outline of the safe was the focal point of the computer screen.
"Get it out! Hurry!! Holy shit we found it!" People started shouting and jumping out of their seats to send the divers down to go retrieve it.
As we watched the divers start to pull the safe out of the Titanic, we left the computer screen to gather around the edge of the ship. Several divers emerged from beneath the water, pulling chains with them.
All of us reached hands overboard to help pull both the divers and the safe out, placing both on deck.
"Get a buzzsaw!!" A person yelled and they went off to go retrieve one. Another man pulled out a champagne bottle.
"Gentlemen, we did it. To all of us!" He yelled as he popped the cork and the bubbly liquid flew everywhere. The man from before came back with the saw and began to work at the safe.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder.
"He's ready to talk with you now, sir." Agent Coulson said, and I followed him through the ship and into another room.
James Rogers was sitting in that room, talking with some of the men aboard my ship. I came into the room and cleared my throat.
"Mr. Rogers-" I started, but he insisted I call him Bucky.
"Where would you like to start, Bucky?" I asked, and he took a small and shaky breath.
"The year was 1912..." Bucky started

So Bucky is an old man btw and I wanted to have Bucky be called Mr. Rogers since at the end of Titanic the movie Rose takes Jack's last name so I thought it would be a good call back. Anyway, hope you enjoy the story!!
