Chapter 22:Recovery

Beacon Academy: Infirmary

Y(N) was seen peacefully laying in a resting bed after excessively using his God powers. Thankfully he was already completely healed, unfortunately, all the blood on him made it look like he was still injured. He actually woke up a few minutes before the bull-head landed but he was tired so he didn't want to get up...Plus it would have been really awkward to just wake up when Ozpin carried him to the infirmary...Currently, Y(N) was listening as Team RWBY came into the room...But, he didn't want them to yell at him, so he just kept quiet and pretended he was unconscious and listened to their conversation with Ozpin...

Ozpin: Everything is going to be fine.

Yang: (Her eyes turn red) HE'S NOT FINE, HE'S COMPLETELY COVERED IN BLOOD!

Blake: What happened out there?! How long do we wait until he recovers?!

Ozpin: (Glances at you) ...I...I don't know...(He looks back at Team RWBY) I'll tell you what I told everyone else, all we have to do is wait.

Weiss: Wait for what?! For him to bleed to death?!

Blake: You have to do something! You can't just leave him like that!

Ozpin: At the moment, there is nothing I can do for him.

Yang: Get Jaune here! His semblance can heal Y(N).

Ozpin: I have already contacted him, but I fear Mr. Arcs' semblance will have no effect on Y(N).

Weiss: Why not?! Even if it won't work, we still have to try!

Ozpin: Even if Mr. Arc heals him, there's no telling when he'll wake up.

Yang: WHY ARE YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE FINE, WHEN HE'S THE ONLY ONE INJURED?!

Weiss: We shouldn't have trusted those criminals! They are probably the reason why-!

Ozpin: (Interrupts) They are not the cause for his injuries, in fact, if it wasn't for them...None of us would be here now. They played a vital part in everyone's safe return.

Blake: Then how was Y(N) injured?! (She raises her voice) WHO DID THIS TO HIM?!

Through all the yelling, Ruby was the only silent one, as she slowly approached you with tears in her eyes...

Ruby: (Small tears pour from her eyes) ...Y-Y(N)...P-Please...Please wake up...(She drops her head as her tears fall on the ground) ...I can't lose you too.

The rest of the Team quieted down as they also approached where you laid. Yang gave Ruby a hug as she continued crying, while Blake and Weiss looked at your current condition and felt tears in their eyes.

Yang: (Hugging a crying Ruby) He's going to be okay... If anyone can survive this...It's Y(N)...(She looks at you as her eyes flow with small tears) ...I know he'll survive this...

Weiss: Don't you dare die on us, you dolt! ...(A small tear escapes her eye) Please...don't leave us...

Blake: ...Y(N)... (She wipes the tears from her eyes) I...I don't know if you can hear me...But, I want you to know...That we're here for you...and we'll wait for you to wake up...no matter how long it takes...

Weiss: We'll come here every day if we have to! We'll make sure you're okay, and we'll make sure you're not bored while staying here.

Blake: I know you like reading, so I'll read to you every day for as long as I can...
