Arriving back at Beacon Academy after completing your goal for Atlas, you and Glynda said your farewells as she made her way back to Ozpin's office to bring him and Salem up to date with the current news. Knowing that you had one more trip to make, you decided to pass the time by talking with Ren and Jaune who were close by. So, currently, all three huntsmen in training are walking through Beacon's courtyard and discussing current news and issues. You also noticed that there were even more decorations set up for the upcoming Vytal Festival. You were not particularly excited about the tournament and neither was Ren, but Jaune was extremely excited for the upcoming fights.
Beacon Courtyard: Mid-Afternoon
Y(N): So where exactly are you two headed anyway?
Ren: We have training.
Jaune: Yup, we are meeting with Nora and Pyrrha in a secluded location far beyond civilization where we can train in peace without any distractions!
Y(N): So you're going to train in the practice arena?
Jaune: Yes!
Y(N): (Notices Jaune's wide smile) By the way, Is there a particular reason why you are so happy today?
Ren: He's been like this since we started training. He thinks we have a good chance of winning the tournament.
Jaune: (Turns to Ren in disbelief) A good chance?! We have a great chance!
Y(N): Since you seem so confident, can you tell me why you think your chances of winning are so high?
Jaune: (Lifts up three fingers) I have three reasons! One, our team coordination has drastically improved since last semester! Two, our combined array of semblances give us the advantage in terms of raw power, not to mention the Kaioken that you taught me! And three, you taught me there is more to fighting than just strength, so we developed many strategies for every bad situation we are put up against! It's a guaranteed success to win! HAHA, I am a certified genius for coming up with this!
Y(N): (You put your hand on your chin) Hmm, your argument does seem flawless in terms of strength and strategy. (You turn to Ren) What do you think, Ren?
Ren: His reasoning does sound logical....However....He completely disregarded our main reason for winning....Our "Trump Card"....
Jaune: Huh, I thought our trump card was the Kaioken.
Y(N): Now you have me curious, Ren.
Ren: Jaune, the technique Y(N) taught you may be powerful, but we have something far more dangerous and unpredictable....Or should I say..."Someone".
You managed to realize who Ren was talking about, but Jaune was none the wiser.
Y(N): Ah, yes. Your "Ace" may give you the advantage in the coming battle.
Jaune: What are you guys talking about?! Can someone fill me in? What is this "Ace"?!
Ren: Think back to yesterday's training....Who was the one person you were afraid of fighting....Who was the one who managed to completely obliterate your entire aura with a single blow?
Jaune: (Quickly realizes who Ren is talking about) Nora!
Y(N): Now just imagine if Nora had a sugar rush during the tournament.
Both Jaune and Ren shudder at the thought as you simply chuckled at their frightened expressions.
Jaune: That's an image I'm afraid to see happen!
