I slowly had Rapunzel trot into the small town of DartenDale. It was such a Marvelous, small village. The houses were nicely aligned along with the other buildings such as the blacksmith, carpenter and other local shops. the citizens looked happy here, along with the small children, running around and playing. I missed the days where I could play like a kid.

These Citizen act like they've never had guests before, or maybe their just remarkably rude. It's not like they haven't seen a stallion either, I've already passed a trolley. The folks seem to be staring at me, almost in fear. I continue on through the suburb, minding my own work. I hear a shriek from across the field towards the blacksmith shack. In reflex, I hauled out my sword from the holster in Rapunzel's saddle.

"The Solider! He's here!"

At first, I thought the holler was in praise, But I quickly realized that it was in terror as cries came from some of the crowds. I quickly had my steed pick up the pace, when I passed a watering hole and decided to pause there and let Rapunzel stop to get a drink.

As I stop, I hear the noise of footsteps in the grass. I spin around, gazing at the man standing before me. He seemed panicked at the sight of me, and was holding a small to what looked like to be a bat in his hand. He was tall, but lanky for his height, and didn't have much muscle at all

"Hello sir." I say, giving him a polite introduction. The man nodded, seeming to calm down, or at least I think.

I continue to fill up a jug with water and take a small bowl out of the pouch in the saddle, and filled the bowl with the water.

I felt a hard blow to the back of my head, Then Darkness.
