Is He My Prince Charming? (Forgive and Forget? rewrite)

Awkward moments and violent tendencies..

Aubree's POV

This isn't going to go well... Colby was sitting on my back porch staring at me with nothing but love in his eyes. As I stared at him I almost felt bad for not being in love with him anymore.  I was actually scared he would try to hurt me again, that I could feel the tears threatening to spill.

"Aubree, I'm sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean to hurt you. Cole made me so mad that I just wanted revenge. I wanted you to feel the way I did on the inside. Will you forgive me and take me back!?" Colby said with nervousness.

As soon as the words left his mouth I could see Cole start to tense up. Cole looked really angry.

 

" Oh Colby yes I will..."  I said he started to smile and it almost made me feel bad. Cole looked at me with a pissed off expression. "I will forgive you but I will not take you back. Cole and I are going to try to be the best family we possibly can be for our son and if I'm with you that won't happen because you will snap out over every little disagreement we have over Kade. I'm sorry but it's time for you to go."

At that moment I thought back to the party two years ago....

FLASHBACK

I was wearing a black Victoria Secret Body Con dress that had gold studs on it with black Versace pumps and gold Tiffany jewelry. My hair was flowing in loose curls. I walked into Jake's house to enjoy the party. Everything was going fine for about two hours. I had a few drinks, did some dancing, and was now feeling a little tipsy. I went to find Jake to see if I could crash in his bed until tomorrow morning but before I found him I found Cole. "Hey.... Do you know where Jake is?"  "What do you want with Jake if you're looking for a good time I can give it to." Cole replied in an over confident tone with a wink.

This boy thinks I want sex. Wow he thinks that I am just going to happily spread my legs to the first guy I see after a few drinks. So sad that I am not that type of girl. I was starting to feel really dizzy though. The room started to spin, my vision was starting to get very blurry, I was feeling pretty drunk all of a sudden. That's when it happened I was fading but still concious for a little while,  I remember  falling into something really hard, warm, and smooth. There was movement and the next thing I knew I was being laid on a bed and I could feel my dress sliding off. I had already lost my heels somewhere. Someone started kissing my neck it wasnt soft and sweet it was rough and greedy. It actually hurt a lot. I wanted to tell them to stop but I couldn't get the words to come out. The kisses started to move further south and it got pretty heated. All of the sudden I felt like my whole lower body was being ripped in two, I had never been in so much pain in my entire life. Thank god this pain only lasted a few minutes, it started to feel good after a while. That's when all feeling stopped and I was gone.

I woke up the next morning to the light streaming through the window and a heavy body on top of me, which wasn't helping my aching body. Why was I naked? Who was on me? What happened? I slowly started to slide out from under the person, which proved to be really hard because this person was really heavy. I found my clothes and one shoe beside the bed, where was my other shoe? That’s when I turned around and seen that the heavy person that was on top of me was Cole. What happened? Oh well I needed to get home.

 

Flashback over

By the time I came back to reality Cole and Colby were full out brawling in my back yard. I didn't know what to do. Thank the lord of all the heavens my mom came out or there might have been a dead Colby on Kade's play set. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?" Mom yelled. She was furious, this was not going to go well. Cole stopped smacking Colby's head off of the light brown wooden steps to look at my mom, he was scared and you could see it in his eyes. He quickly got up and started to apologize to my mom but she did not want to talk to him right now. She turned to the left so fast I got dizzy watching her. As she walked over to the play set I seen the fire in her eyes. To say she was pissed was an understatement. When she finally got over to the play set stairs, she grabbed Colby by the hair at the nape of his neck looked him in the eye and said " You ever come into my house and hurt my daughter again I will chop off your balls and torture you in the most painful and violent way I can think of.  Considering I am a professor of law, I know how to kill your ass and get away with it."  She walked towards Cole and I with a wicked smile on her face. She stopped right at the sliding patio door and looked at Cole, "The same goes for you! Oh by the way Kadon is up and it is almost time for him to go to Sunday school. Cole I expect to see you with Aubree at the church at 10:30 sharp. Good bye kids I am leaving with Kadon we are going to go get donuts." She said as she briskly walked into the house to get Kadon.
