Cole’s pov

I was having another baby with Aubree. The whole way to Woodloch Resort in Lackawaxen Pa I had a smile on my face.  The next three weeks were going to be fantastic. I was going to be spending time with my growing little family.

“Baby I’m hungry and so is the baby. Can we stop somewhere that has steak?” She said with a cute chuckle and rubbing her belly. I can’t wait until I can actually tell she is pregnant!

“Yeah, I’ll just have to find somewhere first. I bought you a sandwich, do you want it?”

“Yes!! I’m starving!!” Her eyes were huge and she was squealing.

“It is in the backseat in the brown bag.”

“I freaking love you!” She said throwing herself into the back seat to eat all of the snacks I had bought.

“I love you too baby. Are you cold?”

“A little bit. Where are we going?” Aubree asked me with a sneaky glint in her eyes

“Ha-ha you’re not going to find out until we get there!”

She gave up on asking me questions and ate her sandwich, mine, a bag of hot Cheetos, a bag of TGIF Jalapeño potato skins, and two bags of goldfish about two hours ago. Now she is sleeping with my hoodie wrapped around her.  I can’t wait to wake up to this beautiful face every morning. She seriously makes every day and night better. I can’t believe she is pregnant again. I am so excited to be a dad again. She seems like she isn’t excited, I mean I understand Kadon is only two and she just graduated two days ago but we can do it together.  I am so tired though, I have been driving for 4 hours, two of which I have had no one to talk to.  I have to wake her up before I fall asleep.

“Baby! Wake up, I need someone to talk to before I fall asleep.”

“No I want to sleep. Can’t you talk to your mom?”  Aubree replied in a tired voice.

“Babe, no you need to get up before we all die because I fell asleep and crashed. I would prefer to see you walk down the aisle and our baby growing, so please get up here and talk to me.”

“Fine, Cole how much longer is this drive? It is starting to snow and we are both tired. Can’t you just take an exit and stay at a hotel for the night?” She was clearly tired and irritated.

“Baby it is only an hour and a half away. No we cannot take an exit. I want to get there tonight I have big plans for tomorrow morning. We’ll be okay babe, I just got new tires put on the car, they have winter tread.”

“How much were these tires?” She asked me in a pissed of voice

“They were around $250 but I got them because I knew it was going to snow. I got them put on your car too. We’ll be fine baby. I just want to get there. Can we not fight it isn’t good for the baby. “
