Aubree's POV

I can't believe Colby just did that. I can't believe he almost killed Cole. I don't want my son around him if that's how he is going to act. I mean I don't like the way Cole was talking to me but beating the daylights out of him wasn't necessary. I had to leave I know I should have stayed and tried to break up the fight but I couldn't let Kadon watch that. The person behind me blew their horn and that was when I realized I was crying. I turned down a small street where I used to go and imagine myself living in one of the big houses with my prince charming and my beautiful baby boy. I used to walk 3 miles rain or shine just to see this beautiful neighborhood. I looked into the mirror to see that Kadon was fast asleep in his car seat. That was when I realized I didn't need anyone but myself, my mom, son and puppy. If I just so happened to meet someone then they would have to prove that they deserved me. I turned the car around and drove the 20 minute drive to get back to my mom's house. When I pulled into the driveway I seen a random car that I'd never seen before. I got out of the car unbuckled Kadon grabbed my VB tote and phone and started walking to the front door. When I tried to open it I noticed it was locked so I grabbed my key and unlocked the door. The house was really quiet but I expected that to happen at 6:30 in the evening mom was usually back at the University preparing for her Monday morning lecture. I laid Kadon on the couch, he looked so cute so I just had to take a picture, I texted it to Cole. After I had done that I remembered I needed to call the police and inform them that Cole was unconscious.

"Hello what is your emergency?"

" A friend of mine was beat up and I think he is unconscious."

"Ma'am do you know where you are?"

"Yes sir, the address he was beat up at was 212 Magnolia St."

"Okay I'm going to send an officer over there now. Are you okay ma'am? May I ask your name as well for the recorders?"

" I'm perfectly fine sir. My name is Aubree Noelle Snow and thank you sir."

"You're welcome Miss Snow. Have a nice night."

"You too sir. Good bye."

I hung up the phone and went to make a sandwich for Kadon and I. I grabbed the turkey cheese and bread. After I made the sandwich I realized someone was in the kitchen with me, I locked the door so I don't know who is in here. I grabbed the knife I was using to cut the bread and turned around to see Cole bleeding standing in front of me. I set the knife down and ran over to help him.

"No before you come over here I need to say something to you." Cole whispered in a shaky voice.

"Cole, it’s okay, please just let me help you." I said in a saddened voice.

"Aubree please I need to tell you this before something else happens." Cole's voice was so sexy when he was scared.

"Okay Cole, tell me. You're bleeding on my floor." I said with a smile

He let out a small laugh. "Aubree I'm so sorry for what I did to you. You didn't deserve any of this. I-I I'm in love with you Aubree Noelle Snow. I've loved you since the day I pulled your hair in 4th grade. I know I'm with your best friend but she doesn't love me, we fight all of the time. She has a boyfriend that goes to Brashear High School. We are only together for a social standard. Bree I love you so much and I know all of this doesn't mean anything to you but I feel like I need to be with you and Kadon as much as I can. I remember the day you came to school and you had that beautiful pregnant glow and a cute little baby bump. I love you Aubree with everything I am." Cole finished with a sad voice and I noticed we were crying together.

I walked over to him and hugged him tight. "Cole, I forgave you after I found out I was pregnant. I was so excited to see Kadon but I was so afraid of what you would say so I didn't tell you until I was 4 months pregnant. I had the biggest crush on you in elementary school then you started dating my best friend in 6th grade. I knew I could never tell her you were Kadon's father. She would never forgive me. I know that I love you but I'm a werewolf so I know that we are not meant to be together. Colby is my mate, though I don't want to be with him after what he did to you. Come on, let’s go upstairs and clean you up." I said with a loving smile and started walking upstairs.

Almost 20 minutes later we finally managed to get into the bathroom and take off all of his clothes. I grabbed the bottle of peroxide, sewing needle, thread, and the paper towels from the hall closet and walked back into the bathroom to cleanse and mend his wounds.  Colby had shoved his claws into Cole's side. Cole had officially broken the record for losing the most blood on my bathroom floor.

Cole's p.o.v

"Aubree that shit hurts. Chill with the needle shoving. Ugh!!!"

“I know it hurts but the infection will hurt more. Come on babe just cooperate."

She just called me babe and that's all I could think about for a few minutes. Finally I got the nerve to grab her, pull her up towards me and kiss her like my life depended on it. She kissed back and it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. We both pulled away for air and she leaned her head on mine and we just stared into each other’s eyes. Damn do I love this girl!

"You're all done get in the shower and I'll go get you a pair of Nike sweats while I wash your other clothes." She said in a sexy voice that makes my heart speed up.

"Okay and thank you for everything." I said with a smile.

She walked out of the bathroom and I jumped in the shower. All there was for me to wash up with was "Dove Fresh and go" or "Monsters Inc.". I choose the one that would remove the most caked on blood and smelling like a pomegranate was just a plus. After I got all of the blood off and jumped out and pulled on her Ravens Nike NFL sweats I heard the door slam and Kadon crying so I ran downstairs as fast as my broken body could carry me. When I got downstairs Kadon was standing next to an unconscious Aubree. She had claw marks down her hips and purple marks forming on her wrists. Who the hell would do this to such an amazing girl? I put on Spongebob so Kadon wouldn't be so scared.

" Daddy is mommy otay?" He said with a sniffle and tears running down his face. He had to of seen everything my poor baby I gave him a quick hug before going back to Aubree and into my thoughts. Only one name came to mind so I called my friend Tyler's sister Taylen to see if she could come sit with Kadon so I could take Bree to the University to have her mom fix her up. Just as I got off the phone with Tay her mom walked through the door with P.F Changs and eye balled me with a furious look. This wasn't going to go well, I had to hurry up and text Tay to tell her nevermind before she walked in on me gettign attacked for the second time today.
