"i wanna go home" cried a six year girl in the middle of the woods. She had long hazel hair and hazel eyes. Her tears shined over her freckled cheeks and in her small tiny hands she held a pair of round glasses. 

"why are you crying child" a voice echoed in the woods making the little girl jump. 

"i lost my family, i dont know where they are" the girl cried and felt warm fur cuddle around her. A green lion that was bigger then the child laid around her, keeping her safe in the hold. The girl didnt fear the green lion since it was warm and calming, she felt safe once again.

"dont worry my child, I'm sure they find you once the sun rise" the lion spoke in a soft loving voice.

"but i dont even know where i am" the girl sniffle as she stayed standing with the lion cuddle around her.

"did you get lost in the woods when playing" the lion asked.

"no, i was at my nursery and the teacher told me to wait by the door while they called my parents once more since they were already four hours late in getting me and the nursery closed long ago but a scary funny looking man took me and i woke up here" the girl said with a shiver and the lion sat her in middle as she cuddle closer to warm the child. 

"you are not from this planet my poor child" the lion said with sadness.

"will my mummy and daddy still come for me in the morning, i miss them and my brother promise to play with me after school" the girl sniffle and cuddled the lion.

"I'm sorry my child but i promise to not leave your side and to protect you from now on" the lion said in a loving voice.

"you wont leave me" the girl asked with hope. 

"i always be with you" the lion said with joy as the girl smiled. 

"thank you" the girl smiled and hugged the lion tighter. 

"what is your name child" the lion asked and licked her tears away.

"Katie but i wanted my friends to call me Pidge" Katie said with a small voice. 

"did your friends not call you Pidge" the lion asked.

"i didnt have any friends, i only had my brother" The girl frowned.

"then i shall call you pidge, you man call me green" the lion said kindly and Pidge fell asleep cuddle to the lion. 

That was the first time Pidge ever met the green lion and she wouldn't regret being taking from earth. The green lion kept her promise and stayed with Pidge as she grew up, she taught pidge to fight and all about space. The green lion noticed how truly smart pidge was and one day noticed how easily Pidge could hack into others technology. The lion help Pidge work enough for a laptop and Pidge became even smarter. When Pidge reached age twelve she joined the rebels and became a rebel fighter. She was mostly their hacker during missions but pidge could fly a ship just as well. Green stayed by pidge side and often protected the small paladin during missions. 

Pidge saw many die and the truth of war but she never fear the battles ahead. She wanted to bring peace and give those who died fighting for something peace. She wanted to make a place where everyone was equal and could laugh without fear. She wasn't doing bad as a rebel but she never truly fitted in either. After all she was a true human in the middle of different aliens. She was a freak and an outsider to all those around her. She got bullies by other aliens and rebels for being born strange. This turned Pidge into a solo rebel and she often went to hack galra ships alone with green. She only join another group of rebels if they needed her or if a mission was too big to do alone.
