I sat at the TigerDen and waited patiently for Jaylin. I've been here for all of 10 minutes and I kid you not, at least 6 dudes have tried to talk to me. I turned them all down and decided to play Pool on my phone until Jaylin came.

I looked up to see Dave.

I smiled sweetly "you sure you aren't stalking me?"

He smirked "not unless you want to be."

I blushed.

"So what you doing here by yourself?" He asked

"Waiting on a friend." I said with distaste. About 30 minutes had now passed since I've been waiting on Jaylin.

"You don't sound too happy. What's wrong?" He asked

I sighed "I just.. was really liking this guy but found out he has a girlfriend today."

"Oh, shit. I know who you talking about but between me and you. That's just how Jaylin is, he's a big flirt so don't get too caught up on him. You're way too pretty for that, Aight?"

I smiled and nodded "Wait. How did you know I was talking about him?"

"I seen you walk to school with him this morning. Plus it's a small town, word gets around so you have to be careful what you do. Also keep in mind he's young and at a stage where girls are riding his joc because he's the star athlete. I was there too so I know."

"Exactly how old are you?" I asked

"21"

I was kind of shocked. I mean,  I figured he was older because he looked it but 21 and still in high school?

I had no idea Alexis was at my house when I got home from practice. I meant to come straight home and shower then go meet Kaila at the TigerDen but Lexis got me hung up.

What she said about Kaila really pissed me off. If Lexis seen Kaila for herself she would be envious. Kaila had the curviest body I ever seen, her looks alone could make any man the happiest man in the world. Literally, girl is the whole package.

I was almost a hour late and only hoped Kaila was still at the TigerDen. As I got closer to the door I heard niggas talking about how fine Kaila is and wondering who she was and where she came from. I kept quiet and walked in, instantly spotting her drinking a milk shake and playing on her phone. Damn, she really waited for me. I looked over and seen Dave eyeing me. I mugged him and sat down across from Kaila.
