I Woke up the next morning and heard Jaylin's light snores through the phone. I smiled and pulled the sheets back on the bed, stretching and yawning. I then realized I'm naked from me and Dave's FaceTime call. I decided to keep the call with Jaylin going as I went to get in the shower.
As I lathered soap onto my loofah my mind went between Dave and Jaylin. What attracts me more to Dave is how mature he is. He knows what to say and how to make me feel like the only girl in the world, and I love it. But, still, there's something about Jaylin's childish ass that makes me want to stay.
I then thought about when Jaylin said he broke up with his ex. I knew how that could go, he even told me hisself that it's hard to let her go because of the memories. So what if she lures him back in? Then I would definitely be looking crazy because I involved deeper feelings for him.
Dave seems like the better option of the two.
I hummed Chris Brown No Guidance the rest of my shower then got out. I still could her Jaylin's light snores. I checked the time seeing it was only 6:37am. I decided to get in my bed and lie down until it was time to ready for school.
I was laying with my eyes closed until I heard a ding notifying me of a text. I picked up my phone seeing a iMessage & attachment from Dave.
Dave😍: Good morning beautiful. I was hoping we could talk after school today? I hope this pic gives me a yes 😉 enjoy ur day love❤️ !

I stared at the picture Dave sent for a little and put my phone down soon as I found myself horny. I closed my eyes and dozed off for 10 minutes until my alarm woke me up.
I got up and all I had to do was brush my teeth again just to freshen up and get dressed. I heard movement and a yawn notifying me that Jaylin was up. "Good morning beautiful"
"Good morning Jaylin" I said sweetly
The fact that he called and decided to fall asleep on the phone with me felt nice, especially knowing he could've easily called anyone else. It let me know he was seriously thinking of something serious with me. I still would love to be with Jaylin but I'm definitely still cautious of him just becoming single.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked
I thought about Dave and smirked "Umm.. like a baby" I said and giggled
"That's what's up. You ready to talk about what I said last night?"
"Um.. I don't know Jaylin."
"I understand Kayla. I just want you to know ima do what I can to make shit work.. with me and you, fareal. I'm feeling you, on some real shit. No other female out here compares to you. You deserve to be treated right and ima give that to you. "
My heart melted "awe Jaylinnnn"
I heard him chuckle his deep laugh "real shit though. Can I walk you to school?"
"Ummm" I thought about how Dave would react. Would he even care? "Uh, yeah that's fine." I said
"Aight. Well I'll text you when I'm on the way. Just finish getting dressed baby."
"Okay" I said smiling. So I'm baby now?
I played Summer Walker station on Pandora and finished up getting ready. Once done I decided to just put on some lashes and a little lipgloss today. I smiled at my pretty natural face and took a picture.

"Maybe I should make an instagram today" I mumbled. I didn't have any social media accounts but that's all I heard everyone talk about. Snapchat and Instagram. I'm never the type that feels the need to fit in, I just do my own thing.
I received a text from Jaylin

Me: ok, coming.
I slide my sandals on my feet and walked out the house when I got another text.
Mom: Was rushing and didn't tell u bye this morning. But I hope you have a great day baby 😘
I smiled and texted her back. I walked up to Jaylin who surprisingly wrapped his arms around my small waist. "I'm not with her now so I can get my hug today."
I laughed out loud "Mhm. Whatever nigga. Y'all will be back together."
"Not if I'm with you" he winked
I rolled my eyes at his player ways. "I think we should be friends."
"Why? So you can figure out if you want Dave?" He said with a little more hate than I expected
"No, because you haven't even been single 24 hours yet" I said.
He nodded his head "You right. I can respect that but me and her are done fareal baby."
My heart melted again. It's something about the way he calls me baby.
I didn't say anything but instead walked inside the building with him as the bell rung. He walked along beside me as I walked to first period. Before I could walk in he grabbed my hand.
"What I gotta do to show you I'm serious Kay?"
"Nothing. Just let time do it's thing."
He looked into my eyes and pulled me closer by my waist. He pulled his head down towards mine and whispered in my ear "Alright,I'll wait. But not for too long and as far as I'm concerned. You mines."
He placed a soft kiss on my neck and I swear I melted right there.
"No PDA!" I heard a teacher yell
He smirked and walked away. I walked into class but looked back over my shoulder to see Dave passing by. He gave me a small smirk and a head nod.
