Choosing

I wake up to ice water being poured on me. Let me tell you. Not the best way to get up. And I bet you can guess who did it. Marcus..

"Wake upppppp!!!" He says happily. Seriously is he on drugs?
"What time is it?" I ask
"9:00. We need to leave in thirty minutes." He says and walks out.

I hop out of bed and run to the bathroom to dry off. I then change into dauntless training clothes I got from a girl at school who is dauntless. I know I'm surprised I got her to give them to me too.

I then walk downstairs and grab stale bread and eat silently. Marcus comes in a few minutes later. He has a grim expression when he sees what I'm wearing but doesn't say anything.

"Get top of initiation alright?" He asks. "Yes sir" I salute before smiling. That's the first time I've smiled in a long time but I couldn't help it he was acting like a normal dad.
"Let's get going." He says before walking to the door. I follow behind and to say I got attention was an understatement. Everyone knew I was the daughter of Marcus Eaton but they were shocked to see me wearing dauntless clothes. We got on the bus in silence and it drives for what feels like forever.
When the bus stops I see all factions piling into one building. As abnegation we take the stairs and let everyone else take the elevators. I'm okay with it because it's good exercise. When we reach the second level I get in the line of 16 year olds and wait for the ceremony to begin.

This year's choosing ceremony is being held by the Erudite. Jeanine Matthews is head of Erudite so she will be announcing names and what faction they choose. I have ten people in front of me. They choose like this is the biggest choice of there life.. oh wait. It is.. I just smirk because I've been planning my transfer for so long.
This is how the people in front of me choose.

"Eliana Eaton" Jeanine says loudly. I stand up proudly. I walk up to Jeanine she hands me a knife. I walk to the Dauntless bowl I cut a small part of my hand and let the blood drip on to the sizzling hot coals. I can hear the gasps of Abnegation and the cheers of Dauntless. I wave goodbye to Marcus one last time and he nods. I walk up to the Dauntless seats and tune out the rest of the ceremony. I know I will see Tobias when I get to dauntless but I don't care. I'm going to kick his ass. He deserves it for what he did to me. He deserves a lot more but I don't want to be kicked out of the faction because I killed someone on my first day.

Time skip to after the ceremony

I get up and run out the building with the dauntless members while many initiates are further behind. I love the feeling of wind in my hair as I run. We get to the posts that hold up the track and we all start climbing. I get to the top and see that I'm the second one up. The first person is an older guy who looks like he's trying to be intimidating. It's not working. Pretty soon everyone gets up and we can all feel the rumbling of the train coming. I see it and start at a jog and start running faster and faster. People see me running and follow. I want to be the first on the train in the front car. So when I see the door, the handle, and the foot ledge I don't think twice I hop on open the door and get in. I look back out and see most people are getting in the second car and back. The guy from the train tracks gets on the same car as me. Now that I'm able to get a better look at him he's not that bad looking.

He then realizes I'm on the train as well. He gives me a shocked look.
"What?" I ask "No one ever gets the front train." He says. "Well I just did" I say. He again looks shocked. "What?" I ask yet again.
"No one ever talks to me. Not like that" he says. "Your in for a lot more surprises." I say.

I see the dauntless compound but the train doesn't go down to the ground anytime soon so I'm assuming we're jumping off the train and on to the roof. "How are we getting off the roof" I ask. "What?" He asks. "Once we're on the roof how are we getting down?" I ask dumbing it down for him. "We're jumping off the roof." He says. I nod. I see the roof nearing and as we get close enough I jump to the roof.

Once I land I run the perimeter of the roof looking for a way down. I see a hole at the bottom of part of the building. Without hesitation I get on the ledge I look at the man who was on the train. He doesn't seem like he wants to stop me so I jump. This has to be the way down. I hope I'm not wrong...
